Cannot Convert Korean to Ascii in Notepad++

hi! i try to convert korean to ascii but it doesnt work, im using the latest version of notepad++, can anyone help me? thanks!

This might be too late, but in-case you didn't find it yet, you can display the ASCII by going to settings > preference > misc. >

then uncheck 'Autodetect character encoding' and close.

You need to reopen the file you're viewing to apply the changes on it.
