all my itemInfo.lub becomes korean, is there a way to avoid this? or to bring it back to english? without reinstalling

 
just make a copy of ur System/iteminfo.lub then just put it again after the update.

EDIT: or u can keep a copy of the whole System Folder and then put it again after the update

why dont you use .lua? diff your client read lua before lub.

Just hex your client and change iteminfo.lub to some other name. And rename your iteminfo to what you have hexed.
