Hello good Morning!
I would like to ask a question regarding a customized creation of items through ACTOR | ACTOR2 and SPR Conview.

I have the programs installed correctly on my desktop, however, my question is about an error message when I try to convert as BMP images to SPR, a message appears next "bitmapas should be uncompressed, in 256 color format" in the SPR program Conview.

I'm creating as img's in photoshop and saving as BMP, but it looks like something is wrong, even putting the background pink and leaving all files with the same name, the message keeps appearing.

In addition to this bmp doubt, I wondered how I create the custons files in ACT format.

I already saw the act wiki, but I did not understand, if anyone can help me, thank you.

Thanks in advance for the attention and willingness of those who can help, I apologize if the post is in the wrong place.

Thank you!

Act Editor > Actor/Actor2/SPR Conview.

It's a 3 In 1 program.

Act editor allow you use bmp and png images.

But about your question:

Bitmap have many save options (try to open a image with paint and select save as...) bitmap 24bits (standard bitmap image) bitmap 256 colors (bitmap with a pre-defined pallete, limited to 256 colors) bitmap monocromatic (black & white).

Make a 256 colors need a program like gimp or photoshop to set a pallete template, then apply on the image.

But with ACT editor, this is not necessary, you can set and configure the pallete inside of the tool.
