Yes, anything that is partially transparent has difficulty displaying when in the BMP format.

Things such as; Drop Shadow, Outter Glow, Transparent Stroke, Etc. are usually to blame.

Check to make sure you have no partially transparent portions on your image and it will

display correctly for you in-game.
