Increase max Item Id

Can i suggest to increase the max item id into 64k+
like rAthena they have increase the max item id.
Soon kro will consume all of our item id /omg

It was already tried and tested by Dastgir before rathena got it.

I am still wondering why this suggestion still not implemented? 

 
My  Last Trial  has proven not so.

item is ignore or not readable by server.

Has it be done?
