Which rA feature you are talking about?
(No offense but some truths)
Rebellion skills: no official data used, bcoz we dont have it. They are coded with info available about them.
Items: coded with information from irowiki.
Npc: maybe this is the one we would have to merge
Source: we cant compare due to large conflicts, but personally, I think why should copy all things that rA do , if something is in kRO, Surely hercules dev will implement it.

We were actually first to introduce the Autotrade and then rAthena got it from us: http://herc.ws/board/topic/3886-hercules-1st-2014-megapatch/
There is also a suggestion regarding the VIP System: http://herc.ws/board/topic/250-official-vip-system/ but it seems to be taking longer than expected to find the proper information.
that rathena branch is kept for reference (merge commits up to that point referenced commits in it), there is no intention to update it.
As for merging, we are aware of some features we're lagging behind on them, Michieru has prepared a NPC update which should be out soon, for example.
