Those who want it, Please kinda have patience,As eAmod BG is too vast, and I am doing it without having BG Scripts(Just testing eAmod BG from eAmod servers.).. since I am working on this, and will release the bg one by one(free of cost..)..

Because of time and my job I was working on this slowly and trying to finish it this weekend as it's holidays here in Costa Rica. I am the creator of those battlegrounds, scripts and server side code, the owner of eAmod.
I just received an email reporting me about someone selling this ... without my permissions. I understand he did the upgrade for hercules, but thats my work... I mean... everybody can code the battlegrounds, but not use my scripts.
I hope this guy contact me first to try to find a solution.

Its funny how some Game Masters from "Donations or Cash Shop" servers claim about "why eamod is not free" "it must be free" "lets share it". Private servers with those systems receives lots of $$$$ monthly. Exists right now a server without donation or cash system? If yes, for sure, I can give him eAmod for free.
Anyway, I am coding this and I will finish the diff this weekend for my costumers, the first step to bring eAmod to Hercules.
I am not happy, again, with this... a guy come and do 2% of the job just to edit some lines here and there from my diff and receives full payments for all my work. If someone is interested on eAmod Battleground (BG 2.0 as it appear to be the new name), contact me ([email protected] or http://www.zephysoft.com/eamod), wait until next week and purchase from the author.
The Diff will be ready next week and If I get inspiration I can also add new BG ideas. Lets see what happen with this topic anyway...

I prefer not to keep with this kind of discussions again (and am pretty sure rest of Hercules' staff also does, since we all know how they can end up). And since this is neither the purpose of this forum nor this thread, I won't allow this topic to end up like that one. Any situation leading to drama is to be taken care of.
Please keep on topic with the paid request. Of course Zephyrus_cr can offer his converted battlegrounds to the requester if he agrees to hire him or rather buy his scripts.

Just an acclaration: even if the validity (or even legality) of the eAmod license can be discussed (and it still is as a matter of fact) as we saw on the topic I linked to (be eAmod diff or not) since it's a modification of a GPLd program (references: 1, 2), but remember Zephyrus_cr still has the copyright for his modifications anyways (reference) and is allowed to sell them (reference). You'd also MUST credit Zephyrus if using parts of his work (reference, or even for politeness).
However, please remember that files such as scripts and the configuration files are not covered by the GPL and that Zephyrus_cr can ship them in whatever license he wants (reference), so you could be legally prosecuted if found violating any terms of license he could put on them. Files that link statically (in compilation time, be it a diff or new source files) or dinamically (files that do something similar to any .dll or .so on their respective OSes) to existent GPL'd code, such as source files are forcefully covered by the GPL, even if its creator doesn't want to. If its owner prefers to distibute the latter files under whatever license he wanted, he/she must create a new project from scratch, not based in any software such as Athena or Hercules.
This is just a shout out to put forward that, even if I'm not a fan of eAmod myself, I'm asking to please don't steal other's scripts and claim it as yours. You are free to rescript it or use the idea (since these scripts aren't patented and, in case they were, it'd be unprofitable to pay its upkeep costs and could also make you vulnerable to Gravity lawsuits), but stealing code (or maps, palletes or whatever) is bad and I won't allow it to take place on Hercules (we've previously taken down services from people illegally reselling Kami-shi's palettes and will do again if finding anything against their original licenses).
