Dear Hercules community,

i want to publish now a great Instant Install Builder for the Ragnarok Community.

What is it?

It is a website where you can create a ragnarok server [serverside only] in some seconds.

You can choose your emulator and define your rates and others. Click on create and run the 3 putty commands on your VPS [recommend centos].

All svn´s are completly default. So no special NPCs are setted or anything else.

In less than 1 minute the choosen emulator is fully installed and ready to play.

Why not just have a configurable shell script rather than giving them via webpanel?

It is a shell-script.

But why you need to get a configurable shell script?...

The most people which setup a emulator serverside havent any develope skills.

So this script helps to install a server for everyone.

If you want to modify the shell script just download the run.sh with wget, set the previlegs and edit it on your VPS like you want.

But the most is already editable in webpanel like rates and start zeny.

If any more configurations are needed feel free to ask me. I will add them asap. 

(Like Max Level is still in develope phase and so on)

Security is concern, owners might feel security risk.Anyhow you are giving shell script, so why not give it directly..

Sure security is a big point.

But if you RUN the shell script it will delete at the end the shell script from the server.

So nobody can redownload or read it again. The data are 100% deleted after a successfull install.

Example on end of the script commandline: 

After the server visited the URL it will delete the run.sh AND the delete.php. The created folder will be empty.

And if we give the shell script directly they upload it manually. The manually upload destroy the shell script because most upload with filezilla. Filezilla does not support the textcodec. So we offer a wget. And it is much easier to run 3 command lines and all is done than upload a run.sh manually / directly.

But we are open for new ideas if you have other solutions which provide a fast and easy setup for everyone which havent any develope skills

Hi!, i've tried to use your tool but it seems to fail at retrieving the server files from your host.

The link to the .sh script works but the link that gets the server files doesn't.

Any way to fix this?

Hello all,

This tool now has a major security hole and it is extremely recommended you CHANGE your Ragnarok server MySQL passwords if you used this tool. We've hidden the links from view so no one else falls victim to the utter stupidity of this tool. Basically all of your passwords are in visible public view if you used this tool, stored in a nice folder with your server name for someone to come by and compromise them.
