open your client with a Hex Editor. 

Find the first case of:

00C0AFC0FAC0CEC5CDC6E4C0CCBDBA5C636865636B626F785F302E626D70000000C0AFC0FAC0CEC5CDC6E4C0CCBDBA5C636865636B626F785F312E626D70

and replace by

00000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000

note: this only disables the visual part of it, if you move your mouse there it will still be clickable

edit: i just noticed this also removed checkbox for sound settings :|
