Change color of item name

You can change the color of the item name?

I saw that when you equip a letter in an item that does not have slot it changes color.

Is there any way I can force this color change without need to put a letter in the hidden slot?

Any location on the client where I can change, or even the source .

I think the only way to do it successfully is putting the hidden slot right now =/
