Some servers sometime wrote their server description with episode system, such as Episode 13.3 El Dicastes.

I've a Pre-Renewal Server, so how I can know my server episode update?

Those servers check those list, disable all npc's beyond that episode, and says that they are on episode x.y

if you just enable Pre in your server by default you are in the latest Pre which is episode 13.1
