In Pre renewal you can use sword in that skill

but when renewal comes using sword is not allowed

Just disable renewal, and check it, if you feel its wrong , open a bug report , and it would be solved within days.

And it's also "uncomment pre-renewal" instead of "disable renewal". ;-)
