How to Apply Patch using github to hercules emulator

Can anyone post a guide on how to apply patch using github in hercules emulator?? bec, i got error when applying patch..

This is the method i do Right Click on the Emulator Hercules then

TortoiseGit > Apply Patch Serial > Add > patch files/diff files... but i got this error...

git.exe am --3way --ignore-space-change --keep-cr "E:Ragnarok Script FilesSpecialShop_v1.2.diff"
Patch format detection failed.
