Need some help starting up the client

Sorry to bother once more, but now that I've finished setting up the Hercules server, I'm having some trouble getting the client to work. I followed zackdreaver's guide, but I get this error after I run the patched exe:

Basically, this are the steps I've done so far:

- Downloaded kRO from https://www.nickyzai.com/?p=kro

- Updated using rsu-kro-rag-lite and rsu-kro-renewal-lite.

- Dowloaded the Fixed 2014 April client from the guide.

- Used NEMO patcher to diff client.

- Edited mmo.h to accept client date.

- Compiled hercules.

- Dowloaded Client Translation from the guide.

- Made english.grf from the data folder, added it to the RO folder, and included the 1=english.grf line in DATA.ini

- Copied SystemFont from Client Translation folder to RO folder

- Copied itemInfo.lua from Client Translation folder to RO System folder.

After that I ran the exe and received the error, I'm totally lost in how to fix this. Any help would be appreciated.

The problem is your grf.
check your grf mostly it also happens when your packing process isnt completed well, sometimes it seems it has packed the .grf well but its not, so try using other software for packing and try again.

I actually got it to run using Happy's 2013-12-23 Premade Client Pack, but I checked to see the differences between folders, and even copied some files to the kRO folder. Diffed the client and packed the grf once again but the problem remains. I suspect it was a corrupt download.

having the same problem, i dont think it is corrupt during download, it should be the installer from https://www.nickyzai.com/?p=kro corrupted

that's the best source for uptodate KRO client pack,

this is the other link i can get,

though i'm not recommend it, as i never tested this client pack.

May i have complete guide from create and server, create and setting client, and last setting clientinfo.xml using 2014 client.

Because at hercules i didn't find packet_db anymore.

So what i suppose to fill into Version at clientinfo.xml with lastest repo hercules.

AFAIK version at clientinfo.xml is not needed to be manualy configured https://github.com/HerculesWS/Hercules/blob/master/conf/login-server.conf#L73
