I'm forming a guild of paid developers or alliance if you prefer to
call it that way. The name is not yet final, once we got say 2-4 ppl we
can think of the actual guild name.

Honestly all of this just starting cause its sad to be alone xD If you feel the same way then perhaps we can work together

Why should you choose to join?

• 2 heads are better than one, have 3 or more, then that's just awesome
  
• You won't worry about talking to clients, I or someone else can take care of that for you
  
• You might be able to get other non RO related projects, if you have other skills besides RO Deving like html5, css etc
  
• Knowledge/Resource sharing, you don't know something, you can shout
  on group chat(in skype) and who knows maybe we know about it.
  
• Free motivation, if you don't know how to motivate yourself. Free life coaching, specially when you're going EMO mode.
  
• And who knows maybe we all can start a server someday?
  
• Did something for the first time? ask another guy on the guild how much it cost when he did it.
  
• Cause it sounds awesome and you'll probably get much less client when you advertise as a solo guy.
  
• Free clients. When a client trust one of us for his scripting
  skills, he's more likely to hire another one of us for other stuffs like
  Gfx, mapping etc.
  
• And its more fun working with other ppl with same interest and when we're having fun, we get to finish more task, and less pressured.
  
• Most of the time, if a client we have is in need of additional guy, we refer each other(have referred a lot of clients already)
  

How we'll look for clients:

• We have our own individual topics everywhere that stays as is whoever contacted you through it is your client
  
• We'll have 1 main topic which will serve as our main Paid Dev Guild.
  
• Client will be forwarded to you if you wish to talk to them personally
  

How will you know if there's a client or not?:

• We'll enforce that the client to either reply on the topic or we'll
  create a google doc form which everyone can see and have them fill that
  up.
  
• If anyone PMed, he will be asked to use the form still. Transparency between how many clients we get is important
  

How do we know who will get the next client?;

• We'll do some kind of lottery to determine our numbers which will be
  our starting line up. From there, anyone new member will be put on
  last.
  
• Whoever is next must confirm that he will accept the project within
  24hours otherwise we'll skip the person for the time being. He will be
  chosen as next dev again on the next one however fail to response the
  2nd time and he'll be skip for good and the line up will continue to
  rotate.
  

Who are invited:

• Scripter(beginner to advance)
  
• Source modder(beginner to advance)
  
• HPM creator(beginner to advance)
  
• Gfx Developer
  
• Spriter
  
• Mapper
  
• Honestly even all you can do is add custom items that will do as well(since its boring for some scripters).
  

How you will get paid:

• You can send your paypal to the client or ask the representative to send it for you
  
• If you don't have a paypal, then just hope that another dev on the
  guild is living in the same country and we'll send to you via money
  transfer
  

Is using a representative free?:

• If you will use a representative to do the talking etc, you will
  have to share minimum 10% to the rep. If you want to go higher than that
  its fine too.
  
• The rep will do the talking starting from the part where the client
  approached us. Anyone can be a rep, but preferably someone with advance
  knowledge to what the client wants.
  

The guild will follow a system, this is what makes us one and ensures everyone is giving high quality service. And these are:

• No upfront payment for anything below 15usd.
  
• Milestone payment for anything above 15usd. Milestone is better than
  upfront, eg. for each 25% progress you finish, you get paid 25% of the
  cost. So both you and the client are safe.
  
• Debugged finished product. You are expected to test your work no
  matter how small it is, even if you just had to delete a space or a
  letter.
