A True Classic Experience:
SimplyRO is the only pre-transcendent server that will offer you low rates and a close-to-official experience. We have spent countless hours ensuring that we remain as true as possible to Episode 8 of Ragnarok Online. This means that at SimplyRO you'll find the classic monster stats, monster drops, monster spawns, item availability, skill mechanics, and NPCs. No other server has gone through such great lengths to ensure accuracy in a classic server.
What Sets Us Apart:
Not only have we gone through great lengths to bring you a truly nostalgic classic server, but we have added some non-invasive features that are unique to SimplyRO in order to keep things new and exciting. Our features below have been carefully implemented to ensure that the nostalgic feel of Episode 8 is never lost.
Basic Information:
- Pre-Transcendent - We will remain at Episode 8 before transcendent characters came about. This means you will find an exceptional level of balance with the maximum amount of content.
- Rates - 5x/5x/5x
- Max Level - 99/50
- Official Settings - We have ensured that things are just as they should be for Episode 8.
- Classic Mob Spawns - We have manually added official mob spawns for Episode 8.
- Classic Mob Stats - We have also manually made sure that every monster is using its Episode 8 stats.
- Classic Items - You can be sure that we have not added any items to the game which did not exist in Episode 8.
- Classic Skills - All skills function exactly as they should from Episode 8.
Unique Features:
Balanced Donations
This is a must to ensure that nothing overpowered is introduced to the RO scene. The only donation items will be official items and headgears that primarily serve for looks. We don't want to offset the balance the comes with an Episode 8 server.
World Traveler
The World Traveler is SimplyRO's way of introducing new challenges, monsters, and areas to a classic game without ruining the nostalgic feel of Episode 8. Talk to the World Traveler in Alberta to take on unique quests to other parts of the world for fun and exciting missions. Don't worry, we've worked hard to ensure that everything is balanced and that the official, accurate feel of Episode 8 is never lost.
Mini-Games
Mini-games are run by the players, for the players. They have no level requirement and do not rely on character level or equips so everyone is free to join from day one newbies to existing veterans. Just wait inside of the designated area with others and one of our unique mini-games will begin! Games include: Pumpkin Farmer, Cuddle Bots, Inferno, Poring Abduction, Lucky Hit, and more!
Achievements
Achievements are a fun way to realize you are progressing in the game or have done something you didn't realize you did. These are more than your basic "kill 100 poring" achievements. Many are intended to be unexpected or secret achievements. The more you unlock, the higher your Playercard's rank will be.
Playercard and Statistics
Ever wonder how many monsters you've killed? How many times you've broken a Buckler[1] trying to upgrade it? Well now you can! We've conveniently kept track of your character from day one to offer all kinds of fun statistics about your character. Additionally, players can share their Playercard with others via link or by posting their Playercard in their signature on the forums. It contains some basic information and a rank that is generated through achievements and other data. Just in case you want to boast to others.
