Updating Herc through Git

Good Day Everyone,

I have a herc emulator that comes from our host. The problem is I use that emulator and I want to update it. I downloaded it on my pc and as I notice there are no checks on the folder that Git do to see if there are changes in the folder and when I right click it there is no pull option. Please kindly help me. Thank you and Merry Christmas.
