i already did the guide so how can i access mysql ?

I think you should type some command in mysql client, not the browser.

If you are not familiar with text client, may be you can try some graphical user interface like mysql workbench (official GUI), here the link :

 

http://dev.mysql.com/downloads/workbench/

 

there are some linux version, but none for centos though :( (I don't know if other linux version will work or not in centos)
