  2. Hi, I've tried searching on the forums for this but I cannot seem to find the right lead to what I have in mind. There's always this concern on SHR servers - long range resists reaching 100%, thus making certain classes rendered useless like magic based chars and archers, what not. Is it possible to change the source so that I can cap long range resist to 85% (for example), no matter what they use it'll not go more than 85%. Where do I change this? Thanks a lot for your time.

I don't know why you are switching armors then o_O well, technically you are unequipping current armor and equipping new armor, so the stats are recalculated 2 times , thus making hp drop It's like this: Armor A: 2 Tao, 1 Angeling, 1 RSX Armor B: 2 Tao, 1 Evil Druid, 1 RSX When those switched, the HP drops... It's weird, as I don't remember seeing this on other servers. So I jumped to the conclusion it could be because of the Set Bonuses. Am I right?
  4. Problem is both the armor switched are the same type and has the same amount of Taos... eg. 2 each but of the same armor... =(
  5. Hi all, thanks for looking at this... I'm facing a very funny problem with my items... I've introduced Item Sets on my server, meaning, a Set would comprise of Armor, Shield, Manteau and Boots, and having equipped all of them, would grant you a certain bonus. Well, it works fine as it is, a set of its own but the problem occurs when, I switch the Armor part of the set, and then the HP will drop. I assumed that the script somehow recalculated the bonuses, etc. The Set bonuses I've defined them in the item_combo_db.txt. Anyone here face the same problem as well? Is there a way to go about it? Thanks for everything...
  6. @@Dastgir, thanks so much for updating them... I've found something odd with the costume plugin... After it's made into a costume, the costume HG overwrites or nullifies the effects of the non-costume HG... for example... HG A gives 100Str... making it into a Costume it shouldn't give any stats right? But with it a Costume, and when I equip another normal HG A, the 100Str is removed as well... Issit just me experiencing this? Thanks a lot for your time =)

    1 Damage Bug

    Dear all, Thanks for looking into this, I've tried looking around in the forums but I couldn't find any leads. What happened was this... A few of my players tried the PVP and they noticed they were doing 1 damage to each other shortly after Blade Stop triggered. But then after we tried disabling Blade Stop from skills.db, the problem still persists - it applies to everything, normal melee, skills, to players and monsters. Anyone encountered this before? We tried tracing what's causing it but we have no clue >.<''' Thanks a lot for your time.

  11. I've read the related topics on the forums but there isn't one thread that gives a clear explanation how to get Mhalicot's plugins to work on Linux. The plugins that I'm looking at: - afk.c - costumeitem.c - Critical-Magic.c It always return me the message addbattleconf, requires 3 arguments, but 2 provided? Anyone kind enough to guide me thru this? Thanks for your time.
  12. I will definitely say Pony-VPS comes HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! I'm not very sure if Pony-VPS has more than one personnel handling cases/requests; I have been warmly acquainted with Jemell of Pony-VPS. He has been there throughout the whole process, from the initial stage of pre-sales (package enquiry, payment information, etc.) right up to setting up the server on the VPS clean, and even to the extent of ensuring that your server runs, even though you messed it up. I regret that I didn't turn to Pony-VPS first, I went to another Hosting provider, which was also advertised on Herc.ws. If only I had turned to Pony-VPS first, I would have saved much money, time, and of course, getting my server run EXACTLY the way I wanted it to be. Thumbs up for Pony-VPS for the wonderful support and service given!!! Added info: I signed their "[RO]eVPS1024" package, and the best part was, before signing, you actually get to test a server, which runs on a similar hosting. I liked it, total transparency.

  14. Samuel, thank you for the speedy reply... It works!!! I can see the main page of the CP... however the subsequent pages like "Register" "Downloads", etc it returns saying page not found... Any clue what I've missed? Thanks again, you're a life-saver!!!   15. Hi guys... I've sent hours trying to get this right but, I failed miserably. My hosting came with a free website. I went for the package assuming that the website they meant was something expected of "any other RO servers" out there... but no, the website that was included was FluxCP. *unhappy* I found out that the installation of Flux was done on the Root directory. I am wondering if anyone knows to move the FluxCP to a level lower, say into a sub folder like "fluxpanel"? What should I do to get it done, what files to change, etc? Thanks for your time looking into this. Any lead/help is much appreciated.

  17. in theory this should work ... how it doesn't work ? 1. the server can't even start because it says .dll not found/corrupted ? 2. in the game the item still can use/equip ? or forgot to uncomment HPMHook ? Hi Annie, thank you for replying and sorry for not being clear. The server can't start, meaning after I double clicked on "Start Server", normally the three server windows would appear, but after I uncommented the HPMHook and noitem in plugins.conf, those three windows appeared for a split second and they disappeared. I got curious then, and looked into the plugins folder, and I noticed all the files there have the extension ".so", but noitem is in ".c"... Could that be the reason? If that's the cause, what can I do to make the noitem.c into noitem.so? Do I follow the guide on making plugin for gcc? If that's the case, I don't understand this phrase: "run make plugins command at the root folder of Hercules" I searched more about it, Dastgir said something about using PuTTY if I remember correctly, but I've no experience with PuTTY at all. Are you able to guide me on? Thanks for taking time to look into this Annie. Love your work!
  18. Dear all, thank you for your time looking at/into this: I'm trying to add this plugin onto my server - noitem.c written by Annie. I managed to do it on my offline server using the guide, and the noitem.dll and the misc files were created, ran the emulator and it works! *happy* The next step is, I want to do this for my online server as well, which runs on CentOS. Using the noVNC interface, I cannot really do much like what I did for my offline server. Can anyone here be kind enough to advice me how to go about it, or I can just take a short cut and just copy the necessary files to the online server using FTP? PS: I've tried to just add the entry in the plugin.conf file and copy the noitem.dll over into the plugin folder, but it doesn't work somehow hehehe Thanks a bunch!
