  1. Well that's not what I was expecting but I guess I shouldn't be surprised since I took a stock version of kRO and applied the https://github.com/llchrisll/ROenglishRE translation project to it... So I'm pretty much a newbie when it comes to building clients and editing .grfs, is there is lua I should look at to perhaps fix? Or should I ask the translation project about how to fix this?
  2. I got the following two errors when trying to start the game as a Doram. I've snooped around in the latest kRO data.grf and tried looking into the offline sever files ... but could not find these files in multiple places I looked. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
  3. Thanks for the answer. Well that makes sense. Now to try to track down these missing sprites. Any pointers on where to look?
  4. Hi, I was able to get my server up and let my friends connect. Thumbs up! But when one of my friends tried to make a Doram character they had big problems. See Screen Capture. Now some of this appears to be client issues where my .grf is missing some of the required sprites (which I think I can fix) However I also noticed they are starting at the standard newbie area instead of where they should start... looking at char config I don't see anything that differentiates the starting point... am I missing something or is there something I should configure to get this to work like it should and for Dorams to start in lasagna?
  5. @Dastgir Thanks for your help. I figured this out... totally newbie mistake I still had the map and char server ip's commented out so it was defaulting to my LAN IP.
  6. I'm a pretty big noob when it comes to hosting my own server so this might be dumb... The good news is that I got my server up and running and can log in if I use a client I diff'ed using 2018-06-20eRagexe.exe. I was able log in using my LAN IP address in clientinfo.xml (the sever is on my homelab in a virtual machine running Debian 10), I was also able to log in when using my Public IP address and Dynamic DNS address from DuckDNS.org. The problem starts when I try to log in using a more recent Diff'ed client 2020-04-01bRagexe.exe I can log in using my LAN IP address I can log in using my Public IP address I can't log in using my DynamicDNS address Obviously I'm selecting the Enable DNS support patch in NEMO, but is there another patch or something that I need to configure to get newer clients to work... am I missing something here? Conversely is there any benefit to using a newer client?
