    A script that announces the name of the player when he receives the card from the monster?

     

    Open conf/battle/drops.conf and search for this line:

     

    // Make broadcast ** Player1 won Pupa's Pupa Card (chance 0.01%) ***
// This can be set to any value between 0~10000.

// 0 = don't show announces at all

    Hi,

     

    I'm trying to make my first private server RO but I have some problems... When I launch ./athena-start start I have this error :

    I don't know why because I don't have "127.0.0.2" in my config files and in my SQL the first ID is login : test and pass : test and not s1/p1

    Same here, I encountered this error as well but I just restarted my machine and everything works well.

    Please check your sql "privileges", did you put the wildcard (%) setting for the IP?

     

    Look for the setting "Grant all privileges on wildcard name (username_%)"

    Yes. It is. % and grant all. I already setup before doing the same thing with other vps. as i said. i just first encountered it this time.

     

    Did you install firewall on your machine?

    did you modify your mmo.h?

    by default hercules is using 20141022 client so you must change it to your client date.

    #ifndef PACKETVER	#define PACKETVER 20140416#endif // PACKETVER

    after your modification did you recompile your server ? please double check and recompile your server .. make sure that your client is same with mmo.h

    Another question, he has an sql update. I have around like 20+ sql updates, how do I auto install them in the command line of hercules?

     

    I also encountered this kind of issue (neither, this is just a message to be updated), if don't want to appear this on your console, just open, sql-files/upgrades/ then look for index.txt file and remove all lines.

     

    You can apply it manually if you want to update your sql (The same with uploading the sql files from the scratch). Correct me if I am wrong.

    Can anybody give me the exp table for job level 120 and base level 500

     

    with second advanced class 70 job level. with max stat 500 [ Agi, Dex, Int, Str, Vit & Luk ]

    1. For the exp configuration, just add zero twice at the end.

    Example:

     

    8000x Server rates, it will be:

    base_exp_rate: 800000

    job_exp_rate: 800000

     

    2. For the drop rate configuration make sure you are using the pre-renewal settings.

     

    Example:

     

    5% for normal card drop rate (hydra card), it will be:

     

    item_rate_card: 50000

    Just add zero's to increase.

     

    Just follow these simple steps.

    As I understand your question, you just need to restart everything (Char, Login, Map server) to make changes. There's no command for reloading the database, you just need to restart your server.

    Indeed there are commands.

    Like @reloadpcdb -reloads job_db,etc...

    @reloaditemdb - reloads item_db/2

    @reloadmobdb - reloads mob_db/2

     

    I'm sorry but I didn't notice about the item database. I am thinking about the other files in database (which is need to restart to make changes).

    Hello friends! I got a NOOB question here :wub: . This is my first time using Hercules Emulator (Server Setup NOT included of course). I just found out that some functions, commands, and tools are different from rAthena Emulator but still I learned. I just want to ask about the file "item_db2. conf", why is not reading the file? I mean every time I put custom items, it will not work, but then If I put the files inside the "item_db. conf" it will work. I don't have any problem with this, but as we all know that if you are using winscp (Linux Templates) it's really slow to save the "item_db. conf" file.

     

    Would you mind telling me the right way to make the "item_db2.conf" work? This is kinda easy question, hope you will answer me directly, I also hope that I explained my question well.

    I made a server and my wife and I can connect. However we sent the client to two friends and when they try to log in it just says disconnected from server.... Not sure whats going on... we did port foreword.

     

    Maybe you are using the incorrect IP address to make it online. You can check out this link if you are using the same ip http://www.whatismyip.com/

    i try to add custom item with the new item_db system on hercules.

    i add the item one by one manually

    and when i try to test it, it show error on the console like this

    There is something wrong with your item_db2.conf at line 69, you need to check it.
