Which most recommended OS for Linux VPS

Anyone recommend which OS i will choose? Which one is easier to configure, I don't know anything yet. I just wanted to learn configure a server myself. Anyone can help?

My choices are only 

Centos 5,6,7 (64 bit)

Debian 6,7 (64 bit)

Ubuntu 12.04,14.04,16.04 (64 bit)

What if I have my own emulator and I want to use it? how can use it :(9

its the same, if your using an old emulator it should support as well

i think the link uses the clean hercules emulator,

  git clone https://github.com/HerculesWS/Hercules.git ~/Hercules

for that, you dont need to clone since you have your own emulator, just upload it into your vps

use winscp to upload

You can also use Filezilla to transfer files from from local to remote host, simply just login your vps and locate your user directory where you want to paste your emulator.

on the hostname just change the domain to your vps ip

I don't even know how to upload my emulator to vps. xD Thank you~
