mrlongshen 22 Posted January 20, 2015 Little information everyone should know! During the migration of our boards, we lost a bit of topics / posts / and files. Sadly, the SQL file got corrupted that held these. However, all accounts / customizations, etc. have been saved. To begin with, the boards didn't have too many topics / posts / files to begin with, so it wasn't a huge loss! I've taken extra precaution to make daily backups of our boards (and of course our homepage and database). MC just needs support now from our fellow members to help repopulate our boards Head on over: http://www.board.midgard-community.com hei bro. when u want to open your server ? haha

Mystery 594 Posted April 27, 2015 Major update: Midgard Community is under going a new design change. We're going for a more "flat", friendly and pleasing to the eye sort of appeal. Here's a snippet: You may view the full site here: http://www.midgard-community.com PS: Keep in mind, the site is still changing so the design interface isn't done 100%. Mystery 594 Posted April 27, 2015 I'm looking for some feedback for the changes! If people have any feedback, you may post it here or you can PM me them
Mystery 594 Posted May 3, 2015 Another design update! We feel this design is more "lively" compared to our plain boring previous one. Once browsing our site, you'll notice I've added FontAwesome which is a big step to our design update. It cuts our useless tiny images and saves browsers' time loading pages. 1 JulioCF reacted to this
Mystery 594 Posted May 14, 2015 New update: Subscription System We added a Subscription System integration with our site: http://www.midgard-community.com/subscription-system/ With this system, individuals receive: Post notifications of new posts (News, updates, information) Newsletters (when appropriate) and most important, receive emails when a new server is listed Yes, that's correct. You will receive an email whenever at new server is listed with us. This is especially helpful for those individuals who want to be on top of new server listings without having to dig around our site. This is really beneficial for those who are looking for servers as well!
Mystery 594 Posted May 19, 2015 We are creating a custom section in our forums just for Reviews: the Review Bulletin. Basically this section will only be used/needed if individuals need more room to write a better in-depth review about a server. This special section for reviews comes with labels, recent reviews, and a server label filter. You may check out the progress of the section by visiting our forums! http://www.board.midgard-community.com/review-bulletin/reviews/

Mystery 594 Posted May 24, 2015 Midgard Community is introducing brand new support for Favicons across multiple platforms (favicons support). When browsing around our forums, you can notice it is mobile responsive. Yet, our Favicon wasn’t and wasn’t suitable across all platforms. Instead of having a single favicon.ico file, we have all the pictures and HTML code needed for a cool, mobile- and tablet-ready favicon. Our favicon is now perfect for all platforms: PC and Mac, as usual iPhone and iPad Android phones and tablets Windows 8 tablets And more… Here is what our icon looks on platforms: List of Favicon files for platforms being used: favicon.ico Used by IE, and also by some other browsers if we are not careful. favicon-16x16.png The classic favicon, displayed in the tabs. favicon-32x32.png For Safari on Mac OS. favicon-96x96.png For Google TV. android-chrome-36x36.png For Android Chrome M39+ with 0.75 screen density. android-chrome-48x48.png For Android Chrome M39+ with 1.0 screen density. android-chrome-72x72.png For Android Chrome M39+ with 1.5 screen density. android-chrome-96x96.png For Android Chrome M39+ with 2.0 screen density. android-chrome-144x144.png For Android Chrome M39+ with 3.0 screen density. android-chrome-192x192.png For Android Chrome M39+ with 4.0 screen density. mstile-70x70.png For Windows 8 / IE11. mstile-144x144.png For Windows 8 / IE10. mstile-150x150.png For Windows 8 / IE11. mstile-310x310.png For Windows 8 / IE11. mstile-310x150.png For Windows 8 / IE11. apple-touch-icon-57x57.png iPhone and iPad users can turn web pages into icons on their home screen. Mystery 594 Posted May 29, 2015 Download System We like to welcome our own download system into the public now! We recently just opened up our download system: http://www.midgard-community.com/the-download-push/ The future of our download system is to be the #1 housing area for all Ragnarok catered downloads ranging from: tools, sprites, gears, sheets, maps, etc.! It seems that TSR (The Sprite Repository) is now offline and no longer available for users, Midgard Community will take its place! Ever since we opened up our download system, we are being populated with all sorts of new files! Check it out: http://www.board.midgard-community.com/files/ 1 JulioCF reacted to this
Mystery 594 Posted June 1, 2015 Month of May Digest for MC! The month of May has been a busy one for MC! With the rebranding of our main site and forum and partial on our pre-renewal database, we've hit great peeks! We have over 32 servers now currently listed with 8 being newly listed in the month of May (big step from being 1/2 a month). MC has been getting a lot of hits and new visitors everyday in May ranging from about 30-100 visits a day and sometimes peeking to 150-350. We have gotten 31 new accounts registered with MC in the Month of May! Our downloads system (ever since it has been publicly accessible) we've hit 35 files uploaded within about 2-3 days. I'd like to thank everyone for helping Midgard Community grow! Can't wait to see what June will bring MC!

Mystery 594 Posted June 7, 2015 Good news everyone! (insert Farnsworth voice) Midgard Community is even more faster! We've drastically cut down page speed loads by 5-7 seconds. Each page now should be loading, approximately, 500ms to 2 seconds.
Mystery 594 Posted July 5, 2015 Month of June Digest for MC! June has been booming for MC! We created a Ragnarok Tools list on our site (http://www.midgard-community.com/ragnarok-tools/) as well as introduced MC's Ragnarok Simulator (http://midgard-community.com/simulator/)! We received nothing but positive feedback for our Simulator and we are so thankful to everyone! We are also working on MC's Feature Plan (http://www.board.midgard-community.com/feature-plan/) which gives the community some future insight into what is being planned for MC! June has been more busy than May! And we would like to thank the community for that! Here are a few stats:
Mystery 594 Posted August 5, 2015 A new Midgard Community is in the works... based off of the community's feedback! Here are some sneak peaks of what the site will be looking like with some optimization:
Mystery 594 Posted August 6, 2015 Here are a few more pictures! As you may notice, elements of the design correspond with your browser's width (this means mobile devices as well). I was debating what I should do with the "latest reviews" sidebar... meaning, how many reviews should be shown? If any at all. I came to a conclusion that devices with a max of 480px width will see the latest review sidebar with only 2 latest reviews shown. The other 4 reviews will be hidden. I've done it like so because having 6 reviews showing in a mobile device is tiresome to scroll through... as it takes majority of the page. What does everyone think so far? Along with some mobile responsiveness, some aspect of pages are getting a spruce up! 1 Nova reacted to this
