  1. i hope the next month will be more bug fixing and so on.

     

    but good job, is there any plan when you want to finish the bg quere? i think this feature is realy wanted by the community.

    just drop the hpm shit for a month and concentrate on this feature and some core bugs o.o

    delete it if you want or merge them. but i still think its a important feature.

  3. as we saw, its already working for rathena,

    and so its clear that it can be done.

     

    im pretty sure this would be a feature everyone would like to see for his server.

     

    please improve the @autotrade command that it works with buyshops.


  4. Hello everyone,

     

    as we are always aware of a map-server crash we always try to find out what caused the problem and how we can fix it.

    to do this we are using gdb on our plattform to get the core dumb if the map-server is crashing.

     

    but we have one problem.

     

    we are only getting this from a bt full

    everytime there is the information "No symbol table info available". 

    We dont find a solution for this problem.

     

    We are using a Debian 7.4 stable (Wheezy) (64bit)

    if someone knows how to fix this, we would be realy glad

  5. It can maybe wrong,

     

    but if a feature is so hugh, that it needs those advanced technologies, should it be a script?

    i think if something is so hugh (and i would count the new bg system to this) it should not be a script, it should be a map-server logic.

  6. Eiphes its not about that he is requiered to provide updates.

    its about hes announcing updates but nothing happens.

     

    and a fair seller would not sell his software if its not working anymore without community patches.

    thats why so many people are pissed.

     

    you should first understand why so many people are angry, and then blame them.


  7. Hey ho,

     

    i reimplemented the buff state icon for Magical Power. it works and shows up, also counts down the 30 seconds. but exactly there is the problem.

     

    the actual implementation of hercules uses a method called toogle_magicalpower to increase the dmg of the speed. then when i use a second time a skill, a flag is on 1 and the magicalpower buff gets removed before the dmg comes.

     

    but the problem is that with the first toogle+dmg buff, the icon doesnt appear, as the skill is still aktiv.

     

    i wanted to modify the source now that the icon dissapears with the first time, but i still have some small understanding problems on the skill.c

     

    does someone have an idea how i can remove this icon but still hold the buff?

  8. @Ossi: i would say drop this shit. this guy took 200$ for this tool and dissapeared after just some years of development. you dont even get a daim for your work where this guy got so much money for.

     

    I decided to support InternalGuard from now on. its still in childhood but the tool have a big potential, im pretty sure with the right help Kaju will create something better then ten harmony.


  9. the still missing part is the separated max amount of characters created and storage cap :(

     

    and why we dont take inspiration on the system rathena is using?

     

    for real, ind and the others are realized such crazy and awesome stuff. and the sourcecode is realy heavy (heavy = great). And now they are stucking at a storage cap and chracter slot creation?

    cant imagine that o.O

It does happened on official, specially on maps with too many warportals like Clocktower and Alde_dun, but some official player ddnt use teleport much in that map because it requires a Key to enter. My alternative solution for this is remove all warportals and replace it with warpNPC, when OnTouch triggered it will ask a user if he/she wants to get out of the map.

     

    1. where do you got this information? Any Proofs?

    2. as im a developer for myself the theorie of "more space + more portals > less space + less portals" = chance to step onto a teleport, doesnt get into my brain.

    and even, i am pretty sure that "if this realy happens" the person moved a step.as it is possible to walk in the black screen while the objects are loading, as the char themself is allready placed.

     

    i will make a stress test on the alde_dun where the bathorys are on kRO and fRO. lets see how often im stepping on portals on a 10k test.

     

    Edit1: First Test on alde_dun04 on fRO, ~1500 teleports, no portal hitted.


  11. There are people who say it happened to them, but nobody can prove it.

     

    I am playing since 2002, it never happened to me.

    other friends are playing since 8/7years and they say it also never happened to them.

     

    i also made some tests on small maps where not much space is with a teleport exploit (just push F5) and macro.

    10k teleports, never got teleported onto a portal.

     

    i cant say 100% that this is not working on official servers. but in more then 11 years, it never happened to me, or any friends of mine. And also my 10k teleport test didnt approved it.
