What do think guys if we include a damage capper plugin in Hercules?

 

Ex. HR Server

We can set the maximum damage of Asura/Extremity Fist to 100k instead of 999k .

I think this will be a great help for those who are starting their own High Rate private server since mostly HR Server's experience this problem coz of High Stats.

Things aren't so they adapt to change.

Ex: Have an emulator that works in the way that I know, another works differently modified, which I use, the logic is what I do know work.

This does not mean that the emulator does not need to suffer modifications, on the contrary, what ind made so far look great, more my point of view about packages is different.

 

It really depends on the user level of understanding. In some cases the old one's are easy to understand since its been there for a long time and you can find many resources or so many can explain it to you. New things have a high chance of not being easy to understand but it depends on how it is documented or explained or presented.

Change is good, most still prefer the old way, why? In my view it is more easy to understand and most of those who work with the emulator is already accustomed to the old mode.

Reallly a very good idea, and:

We want Hercules to stand out, with that in mind we've been planning features exclusive to Hercules, features other projects won't be able to merge. And how is that even possible? features that will integrate with our forum is one example of them. For example a feature capable of automatically looking for new updates in scripts/modifications downloaded from our upcoming downloads section.

 

This for me is the best part, innovation for Hercules, ambitions for the project grow is really cool.

Hercules has its vision(see: http://herc.ws/board/topic/110-hercules-vision-statement/#entry543), if this fits your needs then Hercules is your man. And of course bug fixes is faster coz we also have kickass developers.

if your planning to use Hercules SQL files i think you'll just add the level column in the login in order for your eAthena Based Server to run.

I'm quite against of adding SVN since we already have Git, it's too overkill in my point of view. I know we still have difficulties in using git but we'll get used to it. I this this is will be out of the topic if we continue discussing adding of SVN here.
