  1. surely, this will not work anymore, the website to request a package is not working and the IP change too. The main owner is not replying any of the posts and threads on forum itself. He's been offline for about 9 months+ and counting..

    I see you want a special keyword to add a mapflag to all maps. I don't see the need, and by see I'm meaning I'm not seeing you point out a purpose on adding that while the same feature is already available by zones, since in map_zone_db within the 'All' zone you can have

    mapflags: ("adjust_skill_damage    MG_FIREBOLT    50"	)

  3. Then, why this file exist? I think they put this for alternative on map_zone_db... My suggestion is, to expand its feature to allow the user to use such feature like this. 

     

    Though my suggestion is to "add" a feature and that's it! :D /no1 

     

    and remember that I'm only suggesting a feature, not arguing people. xD 

     

    last thing, please don't teach me how to use map_zone_db, I know how this work, I'm just suggesting a feature. /heh

     

    - if my suggestions is accepted or not, it's okay and that's not a problem.

    I just want to suggest this..

     

    the skillmodifier.txt and skillduration.txt on /npc/mapflag/ folder are base on per-map only. Can we optimize or add a features on this? l find this very useful and it will help us server owners to balance the skills of some imbalance job classes.

     

     

    For skillmodifier.txt:

     

    With this, the FIREBOLT will be 50% less damage to PRONTERA only. How about to all maps?

    prontera    mapflag    adjust_skill_damage    MG_FIREBOLT    50

     

    I suggest to put like this

    all    mapflag    adjust_skill_damage    MG_FIREBOLT    50

     

    In this case, it is set to "all" means that, it will affect to all maps without putting every single map.

     

     

    Same with skillduration.txt.


  5. Posible kaya magkaroon tayo ng modification ng Ragnarok MOBA-like? Marami kasi akong IDEA na nakuha at pwedeng pwede i-apply sa Ragnarok using Transcendent Class only. At pagkalogin nila in-game, NOVICE lang sila, and pagpapasok na sila sa isang ROOM let's say a chatroom with By-level ang mga rooms at random picks ng mga magkakampi or pwede din na Team Match. 

     

    Pag start ng game, they will choose they're Jobs kung ano pipiliin at automatic job change na yun but Level 1 and Transcendent already. And also, Max Level is 25.

     

    For example.

     

    Lord Knight:

    1st : Spiral Pierce (Lv4 Max)

    2nd : Magnum Break (Lv4 Max)

    3rd : Endure (Lv4 Max)

    SS: Berserk (Lv3 Max)

    The rest, stat allocation na yung 10 levels.

     

    Assassin Cross:

    1st: Sonic Blow (Lv4 Max)

    2nd: Cloaking (Lv4 Max)

    3rd: Enchant Poison (Lv4 Max)

    SS: Enchant Deadly Poison (Lv3 Max)

    The rest, stat allocation na yung 10 levels.

     

    Champion:

    1st: Zen/Fury like Invoker tab skill (Lv4 Max)

    2nd: Body Relocaton (Lv4 Max)

    3rd: Agi/Bless like Invoker tab skill (Lv4 Max)

    SS: Asura Strike (Lv3 Max)

    The rest, stat allocation na yung 10 levels.

     

     

    After ng match, babalik sila sa pagiging NOVICE at may experience gain silang makukuha..... kaya merong By-level na room. 

    Pero syempre, sobrang laki ng modification nito at kailangan ng matinding review at balancing... PERO WORTH to try at I'm sure na magbabago ang mundo ng Ragnarok!

    Yeah, that's about right. They're essentially called, or labeled as, Chibi RO Characters/Classes/Jobs xD


    Update~
     
    Did some drastic changes with my Graphic folder that houses render images:
    - Reorganized my folders
    - Renamed a bunch of files
    - Fixed Oboro and Kagerou to proper .png formats (Renders)

    - Added a new folder ‘February2014_Renders’ with additional renders I am currently working on
     
     
    Sadly, the changes I've done were long for GitHub and won't display the diff.

     

     

    I found it and they called it Kodama Artworks!


  7. There's a lot of reasons why you're getting LAG.

     

    1. Your neighbor is getting DDoS. You'll get affected since you and them are in 1 dedicated server.

    2. You have a lot of scripts running with character attached on it. For ex. Hourly points. It will attach a timer to a character. 

    3. Stop or do not run your automated scripts when WoE Times. Avoid those WoE Hours with running automated events/npc. It works on me by not running the automated events around WoE Times. This will reduce some LAG a lil' bit but it depends again on your VPS.

    4. MAYBE, it's your Internet Connection and your players too. xD


  8. No need to use map_zone_db.conf..

     

    instead, use npcmapflagskillmodifier.txt

     

    format:

     

    This one will reduce the damage of Asura Strike by 50% (Halve).
