    In case eAthena r15263 will be merged and the community has use for it, there's an excess add-on code, that has not and will not be committed to eAthena, due to it's nature of being a custom.
     
    The patch allows to optionally reject completely transparent emblems as part of the emblem validation code. Transparent emblems are typically abused during WoE times to draw less attention in castles and were/are considered against the rules on some official and private RO servers.
     
    Commented lines are an alternative approach for same effect, and may be removed.

    I knew you would get excited once you saw this. I was going to post the code in those topics when I finished it and ensured their was no bugs, but looks like you noticed.

BTW, does anyone know what official server has the Super Star (World Star?) item? I would like to see the item sprite and also get my hands on the superstar.str animation file as well.

    Using Flicker skill on targets affected by Bind Trap will remove the trap and deal an additional damage to the targets.
    Maximum of 1 trap can be active at a time.

    Banishing Buster

    Slug Shot

    Quick Draw Shot

If there is a target afflicted with Crimson Marker within 21x21 range of the caster, that target receives additional damage from this skill.

    Crimson Marker
    Max Level: 1
    Pre-req: Increase Accuracy level 1
    Desc: Mark a target with crimson death mark, reducing its movement speed by 10% and allows the caster to track the target on the mini map. Only a maximum of 3 Crimson Marker can be active at a time. Boosts Quick Draw Shot, Dragon Tail and Hammer of God effect.

    Desc: This skill can only activate if the caster's equipped silver bullet.
    When activated, consumes all coins to increase ATK. Skill level affects the ATK increase.
    Reduces the damage taken from undead monsters during the skill duration.
    If the caster switches weapon or bullet during the duration, this buff will end.

    Flicker
    Max Level: 1
    Pre-req: Coin Fling level 1
    Desc: Activates and destroys caster's Howling Mine and Bind Trap on screen.

    Howling Mine
    Max Level: 5
    Pre-req: Gunslinger Mine level 5
    Desc: Grenade Launcher exclusive skill. Fire a sticking bomb at the target to deal damage. If the caster uses Flicker skill, Howling Mine will detonate on the target, dealing fire damage to the target and all enemies in range. Howling Mine can only be detonated with Flicker. If the Howling Mine is not detonated for a certain duration, it will fall off from the target. Targets damaged by Howling Mine will be inflicted with Burning status at a chance.
    Consumes 1 Mine Projectile.
    1 - 400% + 800% Explosion damage
    2 - 600% + 1100% Explosion damage
    3 - 800% + 1400% Explosion damage

    Hammer of God

    Desc: Rifle exclusive skill. Target the ground to summon a hammer of god to strike it. If there is a target afflicted with Crimson Marker in the targeted area, hammer of god drops on the target and deals damage to the target and enemies in 5x5 area. If there is no target afflicted with Crimson Marker in the targeted area, hammer of god will drop on a random location within the area. Targets hit by this skill will be stunned at a 100% chance. Higher skill level increases the stun duration.
    1 - 2000% + 3 second stun
    2 - 2500% + 3 second stun
    3 - 3000% + 4 second stun

    Heat Barrel
    Max Level: 5
    Pre-req: Fire Dance level 5
    Desc: Consume all coins to increase caster's ASPD and ATK at the cost of accuracy. Higher skill level increases ASPD and ATK increase as well as accuracy decrease. After the duration, caster will not be able to attack or use skills and items for 10 seconds.
    This skill cannot be used with Last Stand. If the caster switches equipment during the duration, the skill will end and activate the 10 second penalty.
    60 second duration.

    Its very possiable to have complete custom jobs today thanks to the advancements in diffing, but I think the biggest challange now with adding a custom job is making a sprite for it and I mean a unique sprite with over a hundred something or higher frames to make the job look and feel like a unique job. Its very rare to see someone make a custom sprite for anything other then a headgear and job sprites are the most challanging because of how many angles their is for each direction of the body's facing for standing, sitting, walking, attacking, skill usage, damage flinch, death, and extra unique animations. All of that is why their's so many frames in one job sprite.
     
    I dont think ive ever seen a full quality custom job sprite made by anyone. I have many idea's for custom jobs and where to put them on the job trees, but this one actural limitation is the issue why I never made them.

    So now anyone can cast Poem of Bragi? Sweet. Lets make it easier to reduce cast times and cooldowns for everyone. I guess these are exact copys of these 2 skills, except their usable with any weapon. So instead of giving the original skill ID's for those skills, those 2 cards give a alternate version of those 2 skills that will appear in the misc skill tab. I think this is goina be interesting for Bard and Dancer type jobs.

    It wouldn't work too well and lead to regrets later. Animations for example wont work. Plus once you do upgrade to a 2013 client youll realize you screwed yourself because players will have learned those skills with custom ID's when you want them to be on the official ID's after the update for proper animation and handling behavior. Best advice is update to a 2013 client or don't add the skills at all. Its not worth half-assing or shoehorning something in.
     
    As for the people wanting the skills to not appear in the 2012 client to prevent skill icon overlapping, you must edit your skilltreeview file in your clients data/luafiles514/lua files/skillinfoz/ folder by removing the unwanted skills.

    Well a few people know i have been working on these. So here goes.
     
    Did I hear right?
     
    1. Yes it is what you are thinking. The Custom Job patch allow you to modify the existing jobs and add new jobs      in a fashion similar to HeliumRO's Xray Clients (and some extra stuff u will see below) but using lua files.   2. Similarly Custom Shield Patch allows you to throw the existing 4 shield limit out the door and modify existing as well as     add more shield equipment types to your liking using lua files.   3. For now I have tested them out on a set of clients (for others the logic followed were the same     so I didn't bother with the rest). Ofcourse if any bug comes up I will work on fixing them.     4. Patches were made with existing patches in mind and therefore will not affect any and existing diffs present    in a client you use. Infact you are supposed to use these last only.   5. Custom Job Patch has also an override for Class names based on gender. For it to work Langtype Korean Jobname Fix    is expected to be enabled (for xDiff patches it is a part of Translate to English patch)  
      6. So is there a limit ? yes for now i have limited them as max shields to 10 and max job id to 4300.   So how does it work ?   1. Get the xdiff file for your client version (from the link below)   2. Get the lua files (also from the link below)   3. Modify/Add entries to the lua files (Format is specified below)   4. Load your client and xdiff file in xDiffPatcher   5. Let it Rip!... i mean Patch!!   6. And last but not least place the lua files in their proper locations.   Lua File Formats - Custom Job Patch Custom Job Patch makes use of 7 lua files (similar to the various txt files Xray client had).They need to be present in the luafiles514/lua files/admin path.   1) PCIdentity.lua:   This file is already present in the official GRF but we are going to use a modified version of that one.   All Job Sprites have a corresponding Job ID (including costumes and Job Mounts). This file defines all of them   and their relationships to each other.   This is done with the help of 3 tables =>   i) pcJobTbl (mandatory):  This is where the job id value is defined and mapped to a string for identification JT_KAGEROU = 4211, -- 4211 is the job id for kagerou class     ii) Halter_Map : This is where you specify which job id is the job mount of which class. Ofcourse if you dont  plan to add a mount sprite for a class you can ignore this one.
