But it will be once the server population is lower than 1000++ FD_SETSIZE is too low for Linux(Debian/centos/etc) , you could either use epoll setting(It exist on Hercules) or switch to BSD based system(FreeBSD) and increase FD_SETSIZE Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
