Heyo, server admin from back in the 2008 here

 

Currently in the process of gathering all resources required to make a base server to build upon - and translated client is one of such things. I am scanning the forum right now, but decided to ask. What are current active server owners use for their client side translation? Is there an option to use iRO files? Is the point of having Korean client translated is to get items/features that are normally not available on iRO? Preemptive thank you to anyone willing to take time to answer my questions.

iro files almost always very outdated, but i think good base for translation. As another source can be used euRo files

People i think using translation by Asheraf: https://github.com/Asheraf/Translation

and translation by zackdreaver https://github.com/zackdreaver/ROenglishRE

zackdreaver mostly for rathena and outdated clients and Asheraf's for latest clients.

- Texture Buttons translate.

- msgstringtable.txt fully translate.

- Txt files translate (questid2display.txt, mapnametable.txt etc...)

- Up-To-Date itemInfo and other files required to run a basic Translated client.

 

You can help us by opening PR, or just pm Dastgir to get access to the repo...

 

 

What Client is compatible?

 

- Client compatible until 2016.
