  1. It does not require any server modification

    just make an npc show the text, like

     

    mes "go to <NAVI>[Hat Maker]<INFO>izlude,131,148,</INFO></NAVI> to make hats";

     

    the [Hat Maker] will be clickable in the client and make a navigation to the npc.

     

    also it works with the browser too

     

    mes "You can <URL>Google<INFO>http://www.google.com/</INFO></URL> anything";

    clicking Google will open the browser

    A quick scan shows this <URL> and <NAVI> first appeared in 2011-10-10aRagexe.exe.

    so any clients after that should work :)

    I dun know why the svn address not working with windows TortoiseSVN client,but it was working fine with linux svtcheckout

    I used to have the same problem but just changed the url to https://github.com/HerculesWS/Hercules.git and it worked fine with tortoise svn

    Yes https will correct the issue.

     

    I mean removing the svn. part of the link :P

  4. To tell you the truth... what the hell is this? o_o. I didnt even read any of it just because of the huge amount of text within 5 posts itself. This isn't a suggestion but more of a story book OR a suggestion towards ADMINISTRATORS of a server lol.

     

    this happens in official RO, so he posted the info to see if devs can implement it, I didn't read it all, but at least I understood the point of the post without talking non sense :P


  5. Unfeature.

     

    The way I see this done:

    Create a atcommand to "attach" yourself or another character to console output, so that everything that goes to console is additionaly sent to that player's chatbox. Simple, effective and not limited to any particular action like reloading scripts.

    Possible improvement could involve desired log level, so that for example only Error or Warning messages are being shown in chat.

     

    KISS: if you want to see errors in console without checking console, make them appear in-game.

     

    that is pretty neat

    yup, tried it but still the same

    the client does not display damage on woe maps

    but some people can hex the client to show damage (and gain advantage by knowing)

     

    now with this set to yes, the server will not tell the client the damage, so the hex client will not know the value.

     

    (also gm will not see the damage, but can see the hp bar under players) ** i think **

    this what i'm thinking, client related, btw i'm using 2013-03-20 client

     

    as for the hp bar, i didn't notice xD will check regarding it

     

    so back to the topic, does this means i need to hex the client, but when i do that, both players will see it, is that right?

     

     

    only the ones with the hex'ed client
