Can you tell me how to properly make a patch with GRF's? Because what im doing is everytime that i have a addition file to to my grf i will upload my whole grf file to my web host which is 90mb+. (imagine if i added a 1 new head gear. My players need to download the 90mb+ for 1 custom headgear) I remember the last private server i played when they have an update to their GRF it was very fast. After the patching im seeing repacking files (Thinking that their thor patcher is rebuilding their grf) So how to do that? Can you tell me how to properly make an update to existing grf?

Ive been experiencing this prob since i got my client. Im using 2013 07 08. When my client says "SERVER STILL RECOGNIZE YOUR LAST LOG IN BLA BLA" when i click okay instead of going back to the login screen it will automatically close. How to fix that?

Server software has stopped reading that messy txt file for the new, more readable conf file. You should use the new format on your server if it runs an Hercules version newer than when the update was introduced. However, you can use this Dastgir tool to convert back to .txt and Haruna's converter to conf whenever you find it convenient. Yeah thats the problem. I want to use the latest pull from hercules git but want to use the old item database. So i guess that there is no other way around to revert back to the old item db. Thanks anyways!

Hmmmm total newbie. After i converted the item_db.conf into item_db.txt How can i put that into hercules? Should i just copy and paste? Or should try to rename it to .conf. Coz either way it is giving me a way LOT or warnings and errors. === EDIT It seems the server is bound to read .conf for item databases. How to change that?
