I added my custom cards postfix on the item cardpostfixnametable.txt but it's empty(with just some card IDs and no postfix e.g."4007#") and nothing happens ingame when I put my customs list in it then I checked the cardprefixnametable.txt and ALL cards prefix/suffix are in there so my question is how the hell does the client know which is which? They're both mixed in there but the client works perfectly except with my custom cards, then all of them become prefix like it should be since they're added on the prefix txt but I want some of them as postfix. I'm using 2012-10-04 client on pre-RE.

You need the corresponding lua/lub files too since 2012-10-04 uses different files from the newer ones.

I have a lot of source edits though I really don't want to change them, do you know when it was changed so I can find the commit? I'm looking in the commit notes on the github but can't find it. -

Okay, I found out it's a problem with Safety Wall but I don't understand why. I didn't edit it anywhere and it's doing the same thing with other monsters like Kiel which were not edited. -

Hello, I decided to edit some monsters skills, everything worked fine except for all bio3 bosses and I can't figure out what's wrong checking the gdb dump by myself so I'm asking here. In this case, all slaves and mvps had their skills edited, some stats too but I don't believe that's the problem. I think the problem is with a slave or a skill common to every bio3 boss since all of them are doing it. EDIT: I'm testing monster by monster using @summon so they don't spawn the slaves and I don't get any errors... I used the same thing summoning the slaves individually and no errors either. Now I really have no idea what's happening. GDB Dump:

Edit mob_skill_db.txt in your db/pre-re or de/re folder. There's an option to make the skill uninterruptible.

What appears on the consoles when you try to login? This error basically means map server is down

PK on mvp maps only or without PvP counter

Hello, What I originally wanted is to have pvp on only on the mvp maps, but I didn't want the counter on them and gvg mapflag doesn't do it because of reductions, no damage shown, no teleport etc So I turned pk mode on the server and mapflag pvp off on all the fields and dungeon maps without mvps. It works fine but now the original pvp maps, the ones we enter using a npc, don't show the pvp counter, is it possible to enable it on those maps only? Or do what I wanted to do originally without turning pk mode on?

Oh I forgot I used the import to edit it, there's a %s in there... and all the others around it for hours, days etc I copied it from cronus I believe for the portuguese translation... I'll fix it using the hercules one as template. EDIT: It worked! Thank you very much Dastgir.

this just enables it after the crash, there is a file "core.xxxx" (example, core.5213) simply check with dir, then: gdb map-server core.xxxxbt full As I said, there is no core file generated after the crash.

I'm trying to, but the core file isn't generated... Already followed the instructions on http://herc.ws/wiki/GDB but nothing. ./configure --enable-debug=gdb Recompiled, even tried again with make clean, no changes. There is actually a console "error". It says map-server sent a crash signal and will be closed, saving all characters. Sorry I never worked on linux and gdb.

No errors on console, only "Map-server #0 disconnected" As soon as I type @time and hit enter I get the time and a window saying Disconnected from server as well as the entire map server crashing... Any ideas what it could be? Something related to timezone perhaps?

So, I tried to find ITM_TOMAHAWK or anything related to tomahawk in the battle.c file and nothing. Tried skill.c and skill.h but nothing related to skill damage. Is it somewhere else? I want to change the skill damage.

No problem, thank you for your effort either way! I liked this idea, too bad it's too much complex for my abilities so I have to rely on someone else. Hope someone gets interested in this too.

Thank you for the answer Happy, yes the event is somewhat what I want, though it'd need some edits to work like that. But yes, the backbone is pretty good to start. For example, 1 - I don't want people to type an atcommand, I want them to talk to the npc to register, they have to stay in prontera to be called and all the other restrictions already in there too. 2 - The randomized aspect is great, but read next point 3 - More than 1 duel at the same time if there are enough players, each one in a different arena. So would need to change the randomizing a bit, to choose as many duos as it can with the given number of players registered and maps available. 4 - Point system 5 - Yes I want a ladder only for the event and choose the class ranking you want to see in the menu with option to see the past ranking as well. Editing that ladder should work great! 6 - The cycle every 2 weeks which resets points and "crowns" the winners. The autostart everyday is good just need to be able to set which days of the week and GM option to Start. 7 - Remembered something, don't know if it's possible though but it'd be good if the npc didn't have to start from the beginning if the server went down for example during the duels it would resume from the time it stopped.

Hello, I tried looking for one of these but I don't think there's any available anywhere. This is for PRE-RENEWAL please. From my kinda little understanding in script it should be very complicated to do this but the results are pretty cool. And I'm willing to pay for it if anyone is interested, of course if I'm paying for it I'm expecting it to work well. It works like this: - GM or automated event starts and announces the duel games have begun - NPC appears in prontera and players of a minimum level X should be able to sign up. Everyone has a number of points attached to them, they start at 10 and there's a ranking system for whoever is highest for each class. All points are reset every 2 weeks. Players can only fight 5 times a day or until they hit 0 points - Then after a few minutes(let's say 2min) the NPC checks everyone who signed up and teleports them in pairs randomly to maps(either instanced or not, although instances would definitely work better for many people) - The players start far away enough to not see each other and a count down begins, we can even add a buffer npc available with simple buffs like agi/bless that is turned off after the pvp is turned on. If it's possible, add something for the player to be unable to get out of his/her area until the duel begins. - Duel begins, players fight for 2 minutes, whoever wins will get 3 points, losses lose 3 points, draws both lose 1 point. - When all duels have ended, everyone goes back to prontera and the NPC starts round 2 and go on until a certain time has passed - At the end of the 2 weeks interval there's an announcement of the winners of each class and their names and the ones before them are saved in a board everyone can check. - All the winners get some items exclusively to the champions, 1 item for each class, besides a few other gimmicks. The items are gone after the 2 weeks they're champions and these particular items can never be used during the duels on the next games.

Yes it's added on plugins.conf and the .so file was created in the plugin folder. Again, no errors whatsoever, it just simply doesn't do anything when I'm out of arrows. Tried remaking the plugin, same results, still no errors.
