In answer to who would use this system.. I believe VIP could be used as an event winning reward, or people can quest to gain increased gameplay for some time, maybe a script that grants ViP if logged in 7 days a row.. People will always find something to use it for if it exists and is common to all trunk files. People could start utilising the VIP variable into their scripts and give special access to VIP members...
