I just wanna ask if anyone can recommend me a hosting that can host ragnarok servers?

and can give me idea/teach me about setting up un-managed host? rather than getting ready RO Hosting.

Also can recommend me Ready RO Hosting, I'm still learning to configure un-managed host things.

You should try Digital Ocean. Their servers are pretty highly used, meaning for a production environment, it wouldn't be ideal for anything larger than a small community of 10+ players, but their website has lots of guides. I started their with almost zero knowledge, and now it's almost like a second language to me.

I would go fully self hosted, like most people are saying. If you're a student on github you can get 50 dollars of free credit at digital ocean, or you could just go with OVH.

U should host the server in vps.. nowadays plenty of guidances to setup the vps to host ragnarok emulator.. personally i don't like using ragnarok hosting coz have seen in both rathena & hercules forum.. some people have problem with the hoster, the hoster went missing, not respond to PM, skype, email.. so, if u using VPS.. it is all urs, under ur management..

An SSD (solid-state disk) is much much faster at reading and writing than a traditional HDD (hard disk drive), and generally more stable since it has no moving parts.

 

The difference between KVM and OpenVZ is that KVM uses hardware virtualization (aka an hypervisor) while OpenVZ uses OS-level virtualization (aka a container).

A hypervisor basically emulates the whole machine while a container just emulates the user-space and runs it on top of a shared kernel. Because of the added layer of abstraction offfered by hypervisors the performance is slightly worse than for containers.
