How exactly Weight in Item_db works?

Hello i like to ask how exactly item weight works, i have seen item_db and found some weird numbers

eg. hunting spear weight is 420 and in item_db it's 4200, same for other items. But in game it works fine like, 4200 weight in database and in game 420.

Weight: Item's weight. Each 10 is 1 weight. When not specified, becomes 0.

So if you have Weight as 10, it will show 1 weight ingame.

Ok, just got confused.

any special reason why weight is '/10' ?

arrows have a weight of 0.1 so its /10 to support that
