    This would be very cool! Love the Idea. @Topic: - Not sure how to help, I believe Neo was working on a feature for his Item organizer that may help.
  2. Arrakeen - So I am a long time Sci-Nut and after a conversation or two with Muad_Dib and some searching for resources I have decided Arrakeen MUST be made into a Ragnarok Map. Here are my sources to reference as I begin designing this map. So what do you think about this project? Do you know what DUNE is, are you a Sci-Fi Fan? Tell me what you think. If anyone has a better resource for Arrakeen please forward it along to me!
  3. Pallet Town - This is the Pre-Release of my Custom Pallet Town, Yes it has been done a million times, but not by me /gg I have about as much nostalgia for Ragnarok as I do Pokemon! In time I will release more PokeMaps here and there but what better place to start than Pallet Town?! I would greatly appreciate any feedback or opinions you might have about this release so let me know! Did I mention this Release Will include Interior Maps as Well !?

Hello Valor, you will find more support for your Control Panel in the following pathway for the forum; Hercules Board → Support & Releases → Other Support & Releases → Website Resources → Website Support However I can tell you that to change to a drop down menu instead of an input field you will have to modify the modules within your FluxCP Directory; flux → modules → account → create.php Please note, before making any changes you should make a Backup of all of your data. Without a firm knowledge of .PHP things can easily become broken or missing.

  14. Sorry for the delay! I've been busy with some RL stuff at work, the walk able / non-walk able tiles just need to be set and then It will be finished. Also as a side note, This map will be 100% free to use at your discretion without giving credit, also I will be including the "map.extra" file so you may make any edits you wish to make. The only provision I request is please do not redistribute or release as your own work.

I have struggled with all of the bugs and issues when using BrowEdit, and I believe it has finally paid off! Here is my first public map release and I hope you all enjoy it ! I plan to Release many more maps, and even take requests from time to time. I would GREATLY appreciate any opinions, or general enthusiasm's, after all I could just keep my maps to myself but they are intended to benefit the Hercules Community ! If you download my free map release please offer me your input ! -Updated Screen Caps- July 14, 2013 I have included the invek.extra file incase you wish to make a change to the map. You may use this map as you wish, however please do not redistribute as your own work or offer my work at any other location. I do not require being credited for this map. This is intended to be used with sky background, if you have trouble changing the background, installing the map, or making a fix then drop me a PM and I will gladly help support you. DOWNLOAD:
  18. Fixed this issue haha apparently the map files need to be re-opened and "save" instead of Save As, this corrected all my test maps immediately

Issue / Problem: I have a custom map that I created for testing, it works fine in-game however when I copy the one model I have on the map or add another to the same working map and re-calculate the light maps and save as I crash when I try to load the map in-game. What I did to create the working map; ----> I am using ( 2012-04-10aRagexeRE_J ) ----> Working + Setup Copy of Brow Edit Revision 586 ----> Textures Models Etc. & GRF match up (Setup) ----> Opened a Map from GRF (Gravity Maps, tested multiple) ----> Cleared the Map of all Textures, Walls, Effects etc. ----> Changed the Water height to [ -20 ](Water Edit) ----> Changed (Global Height Value) to be above Water Level. ----> Added some Textures to the map (non-customized) ----> Added one Model (Object) to the map (In-Bounds & Non-customized) ----> Made sure the Object was at the correct Height ----> Added some Lights to the map ----> Calculated the Lightmaps ----> Smoothed the Lightmaps ----> File -> Save As -> Close Brow Edit ----> Added the New Map Files to my (Client-Side) ----> Recompiled Mapcache (Successfully using WeeMapCache) ----> Loaded the map (100%) and my one Model, Lights & Gat Tiles behave correctly So ... No issues yet, however when I proceed to; ----> Re-Open the same (working map files ----> Add or Copy & Paste another Model (Object) ----> Re-Calculate the Lightmaps ----> File -> Save As [New Map Name] -> Close Brow Edit ----> Added the New Map Files to my (Client-Side) ----> Recompiled Mapcache (Successfully using WeeMapCache) ----> Loaded the map (0%) and immediately crash I have attempted multiple things to get this to work such as; ----> Copying and Pasting everything to a new cleaned map (Did not work) ----> Cleaned current map of everything but textures and Height / remade (Did not work) ----> Delete the new model, recalculate lightmaps, save as (Did not work) WTF? What am I doing wrong? I do not understand why it has to be this difficult to design maps, the experienced mappers out there must have a VERY specific set of steps they follow when maping, help me out here so I can stop pulling my hair out I would appreciate it more than words or little green + buttons can begin to explain.

    Haha thanks all, and yeah Mysterious that was the point to get people to look! Also totally random but thanks I believe I have used one of your Mysterious SVN offerings once upon a time xD because I thought it was "mysterious" or something. YOU must have done something to the name to get people to look at your SVN. Glad to be here off to poke at bugs, get setup & yeah Brow Edit >_>... Wooosh~

    Seriously?!

    Well Hello all, Uzieal here, I made it! I must admit as most others I was reluctant to switch, but I think this project is worth while so I am working on creating a build using Hercules! Lets see, a bit about me.. My specialty is Graphic Design, Spriting, Etc. I also love scripting and toying around with SRC. I have been on Ragnarok Emulator Boards since around the time the first of the Freya Projects were being born, and I have worked on so many servers I loose track sometimes of all the old great servers that have come and gone. I remember the days of Delta being a nub and SF/Others stepping up. I have been there through the drama and anguish. I am hopeful that this project will go the distance, I LOVE the stability aspects / goals of this project more than anything. As an Administrator it is a never ending task to find the perfect build that you can hold onto and continue to improve without needing to change everything up at every turn, which is not extremely difficult ( anymore ) with all the documentation we have available but to have a ( Stable ) version of anything is always a plus! I would love to be a community contributor and I will soon have many graphic design releases free for the community but I need to figure out map designing figured out so I can provide map releases paired with my quests / events etc as full packages unique and exclusive to Hercules. Hmm thats all ~
