  1. Your Map Showcases are always great, I particularly enjoy the Red and Blue Roof Tiles, they pull it all together for me.
  2. Any of the 2013 Clients will support 3rd Job Skill Effects and there are many if not all third job skills working or complete here.
  3. Thanks, now I guess a deal is a deal, I will start converting my Pokemon Sprites into custom Homuncs and releasing them in sets
  4. "Costume Tab" are you 100% sure that you made a weapon item for the costume tab that overwrites your existing weapon sprite? I think you may be mistaken.
  5. Everything you need is here, I see you're working with ossi0110's Full Client Package, Did you manage to download it? It contains 99.99% of what you will need client side It can be re-diffed also as he provided the Diff file and the Program to diff it which will list the last diffs applied so you can have an idea of what was done.
  6. Adding Packet Support: The proper placement for Packets and Encryption Keys is as follows; src/map/packets.h If you were to update to an even newer client please first check this file to see if there is already packet support for your client date. If there are no packets or keys listed for your client date you will need to manually add them into this packets.H file using the same structure of the existing packets + keys available. You may leave the existing packets in place as they will not effect your client date in which you specify in; src/common/mmo.h Please Note: Once you make any changes to Source (src) files you will need to re-compile to commit the changes to your server. It is highly advisable before making any change to back-up your progress. 2013 Client Support Topic: Please visit this topic for support on the latest Packets and Keys; http://herc.ws/board/topic/630-2013-ragexe-and-diff-up-to-date-2013-08-07/ As for tools to extract packets and then obtain proper keys I am unsure but hope this helps.
  7. Let me know if you still have issues here, as you may need to make further changes to fix this if you continue to get these errors randomly.
  8. They should start releasing skills very soon though
  9. Those additional folders you are seeing are for development purposes and keeping track of merges to be made etc. the SVN code will work fine to build your server. The Directory you are going to want to use to build your Hercules server from is the one labeled (" trunk ") if you want the latest features offered by Hercules. I do not use CentOS 6 so I can not test this method to confirm, however using this method should also work to obtain a working copy of Hercules;
  10. Welcome to Hercules, Glad to have you with us themon! Also, if you ever need any support, please drop by our IRC channel over (@ #Hercules on irc.rizon.net )
  11. Currently there is no way to make view-able weapon sprites show (if / when) equipped to the costume tab without diffing the source code to do so then applying the diff. If you would like to make a request in the source request section please feel free to open a new topic there and be as detailed as possible as to what you would like to request, with any luck someone might help you out As for creation of new view-able Headgear Sprites for the costume tab, this is fairly easy to do, you follow the same method of creating custom items. Follow the syntax of the existing item_db.txt serverside. I am moving this to the database support section as this is most suited to that section, and you will find more luck resolving any issues you have with this there, good luck kerbiii.
  12. Sorry for the delay, I will finish your request soon ~ Thank you for your continued support & patience!
  13. Hello, The major Ragnarok Online Emulator projects are similar in many ways, one reason most people prefer Hercules is that we support use of the newest Clients available which means there are often more features. Also Hercules has many unique features that are quite innovative in nature. The latest Hercules Branch is not all that you will need to run a server, You will also need a Client & the necessary client-side files. You will often hear "Server-Side & Client-Side" These are the two major sets of files needed to get a Server running. To the best of my knowledge there are no members who offer both as a single download, not oh Hercules or elsewhere, however you can find what you need fairly easily. Any of the guides you find on setting up a ragnarok online server could possibly work for Hercules as all Athena based emulators will be setup basically using the same exact method. Some of the best information you can find on anything specific guide related information may be found on Hercules Wiki. A 64-Bit Windows 7 Operating System will not be a problem with running Hercules. Here are some very useful Links for you: http://herc.ws/board/files/file/25-hercules-win32-for-ragexe-20130703/ This is a Pre-compiled version of Hercules for Windows http://paid.endlessro.de/2013-06-05Ragexe_Full_Client.exe This is a complete Ragnarok Online Client Package <---This is "kRO" Please look into this list of things; Xampp, Server Compiling and Port Forwarding
  14. Thank you for sharing your work with the community, I am sure many here will greatly appreciate something like this, keep up the good work Feefty!
  15. Once you download the files ossio0110 directed you to, you'll need to add the images to the correct pathways in your data folder or alternatively in the correct directories of your server's grf.
  16. Hello yllainne, I would love to help you but could you possibly provide a more complete description of what you would like to request? If you need support in another language that is fine also, just be as thorough as possible.
  17. Its not bad, again as with the gun-blade, you need to extend the sprite so it doesn't look disconnected in relation to the character sprite. This is easier to do if you design the sprite for a specific class or in actor 2 designate the sprite to be layered in front of the sprite. I hope you keep up the showcases, we always can use more great spriters in the community
  18. It is a cool Idea, I think it needs to be even smaller however, also the kilter of the handle versus the blade in the front facing frame is off. Keep up the great work, are there any public releases in the future for you? +1
  19. Glad to have you here Torben, thanks for saying hello!
  20. Just as a note, once you make a change to your source code you will need to recompile your server. Making a backup before changing any source or recompiling is highly recommended. Here is the Wiki Entry on Compiling: http://herc.ws/wiki/Compiling
  21. This is a nice splash page, usually I like smaller splash pages but with the video this works great.
  22. Fifth Request! Here it is, my fifth request here on Hercules, round one is almost complete and I hope evryone has enjoyed their requests! Direct Image Links: http://img203.imageshack.us/img203/497/n8tp.png http://img46.imageshack.us/img46/5202/4sv4.png
  23. I dont believe you interpreted the context of Jman's post fully This topic wasn't " rAthena is better than Hercules because x, y,z. " nor was this topic " Hercules is better than rAthena because x, y, z." What I have seen thus far have been fair assessments of the differences between the two projects in regards to the pros and cons of both & not as a direct post on the issue but in response to a question in need of a proper answer by a fellow community member. Ex; "rAthena is good because x,y,z." & "Hercules is good because of z,y,x." "Hercules however lacks x,y,z." & "rAthena however lacks z,y,x." However I do see potential drama, closing the topic is not necessary however marking it answered and locking it would do just fine, if any action is needed.
  24. That is no joke, great comparison jaBote ! In my opinion... Hercules is The Future of Ragnarok Online Emulation plain and simple. Both emulation projects have their merits and share a certain amount of common sense commits but I see Hercules becoming the go to option in the very near future, we lack some things yes, but the entire concept of Hercules is to push the boundaries of what has always been accepted by other communities as "possible". Hercules will be virtually limitless and radically more flexible than its predecessors.
