    This release is for Hercules, and is essentially a "work in progress", however, I wanted to give this to Hercules to inspire users to not only make use of this, but to complete it, make it better, and find use for it.

    What's Included?

    This release has the display name table, resname table, description table, and SQL inserts for all current headgears listed in the Hercules database for headgears that equip to either the "top" "mid" or "low" slots. I've NOT included headgears that equip to multiple locations in this release simply because it's 2am and I'm tired at the time I'm releasing this.

    What you need to do in order to get this to work on YOUR server.

    1. Import the SQL inserts via phpMyAdmin or an equivalent. If you don't know how to do that, ask here and hopefully someone will answer your question if I'm not around to answer it. Then, go in-game and @reloaditemdb.
    2. Copy/paste each of the resname/displayname/desctable entries into YOUR clientside files with those same names. Open your game client and voila.

    Notes:
    1. A LOT of these are blank sprited. Why? Because I didn't think to import the resname table I had from kRO when I made these for v1.0. I'll redo that later when I feel like it. (Or, you can if you're not lazy!)
    2. You'll see a LOT of "repeated" headgears; I simply pulled the data from the SQL database to generate these files. You can add/delete items at your discretion.
    3. This uses ID's 30,000 to roughly 31,000. If you have items in that range, well I guess you're SOL. #sorrynotsorry
    4. This is for clients prior to the nifty LUA crap that includes all the client-side data into one file. If you want to convert these to be used for that, feel free, but I won't be doing it myself until I update my own client that I use to a 2013 client. If you want this to happen sooner than later, pressure Sirius_White into getting 2013 clients working with Harmony. #deadsrs

    The intention of this release is as stated before, to inspire individuals to CREATE and expand upon this system. I've not included an NPC to distribute these headgears. If you want to do that, feel free.
    Here's basic code to sell every headgear for 50 Cash Points; You'll need to place them on a map of your choice, however:

    TXT support for RO servers based on rAthena and Hercules was long ago removed.

    Only server packages with TXT support to date are eAthena ones, which are way too outdated (if I remember well it doesn't even have Renewal). If you want to have a home server for testing purposes, you'll have to use any SQL engine: MySQL, HeidiSQL, SQLite, Microsoft SQL server... etc.

    I am collecting input or feed back from all.
    My first release v1 @r37 just a starting point for us to work with.
    Please keep in mind this data folder mainly to support clients in year 2013 and later.

    Some files are not there, for example clientinfo.xml , sclientinfo.xml .
    I will try to link from here additional info to minimize user from hunting the related materials.

    Probably a complete packed for everyone;

    Complete datafolder fresh with translation Ragexe lastest with loki or rocred or rolex which ever as long as they could connect to the newer clients.(default) .xdiff file to be used to client customization and needs for everyone. It should be a ready to go thing and packed with basic setup..

    I thought someone did this already but it isnt supporting cashshop yet?

    madtoyz reacted to Igniz in Title System from RO2
    Simple like this:

    The user completes a quest and obtains as reward a title that give him certain types of bonus (like str, agi, flee, etc)
    And of course, everyone can see it.

    It could manage a DB like this:

    <ID>, "Title", <Color>, {Bonus} 15, "Atroce Hunter", 0xFF44FF, {bonus bStr, 2; bonus2 bSPVanishRate,10,1;}  And could have a couple of commands (evil purposes included):

    settitle, <ID>;getchartitle, <CharID>;  In Action:

    if(quest_12-1) settitle, 15;end;if(getchartitle == 15) mes "This is a real hunter!";close;

    Menu (the main idea):

    if(title15)   set .@menu, .@menu+":Atroce Hunter";mes "What title do you want to switch?";select(.@menu)settitle, @option;close;
    Final

    It could be a powerful plugin, don't think so?

    madtoyz reacted to jaBote in Where i can find the resnametable.txt
    Yeah. All main data files are in data.grf or rdata.grf. When you use a custom data like Alexandria's one, you do only "overread" the files of the official GRF with the ones in your custom GRF.

    Example: Official GRFs have all text in Korean; your custom GRF has mostly all text in English. And what's your server UI language? English, right?

    This is just half the truth because the GRF precedence is actually read from your DATA.INI file in your client folder.

    1. This "RO Client Package for Private Server" is a package that I stripped out from svn checkout  https://subversion.assembla.com/svn/client-side-translation/ .
    2. These 2 topics Client Side Translation Project and Texture Translation Project inspired me to compile a basic data folder for Hercules user.
    3. Mainly to support RO clients in year 2013.
    4. Get some missing file from Alexandria's data folder v4.0. ( I will fix it in next coming version.)

    Basically this package allow you to start build up your 1st client.
    Many of us call this "data" folder.
    Data folder is what you looking for before making your server grf.
    File is packed using 7zip (Ultra) for just 40.3MB. (normal size = 328MB)
    Folder "Tools" in this package is not part of "data" folder.

    sc_start(bl, SC_BANANA_BOMB_SITDOWN_POSTDELAY, 75, skill_lv, skill->get_time(GN_SLINGITEM_RANGEMELEEATK,skill_lv)); // Sitdown for 3 seconds.
    You have to adjust the seconds within your /db/re/skill_cast_db.txt file:

    //-- GN_SLINGITEM_RANGEMELEEATK2498,0,0,0,3000,0,0,-1
    3000 is 3 seconds. So, change it to 8000 and you'll get 8 seconds :>

    yes..but there is a counter part min atk will get more lower..

    as you seen in your video your min atk turns hundred while in previous its thousands due to the increase of variance so ideally for sinx type suggested weapon for dual weilding is lvl1 or 2 weapon because of small amount of variance and doesn't increase much in EDP so you always(60~70%) deal max damage while in katar type suggested is a lvl 4 and crit build for a massive damage...so for an EDP type sinx its not recommended that you will be using SB or CI in PVP and take note sinx type is easy to have an aspd of 189+ if proper geared and buffed...

    Official Item Group/Package/Chain

    Overview
    Implementation of the official 'Item Packages', 'Item Group' redesign, 'Item Chain' implementation. item_group.conf : Overview / Sample
    The file was redesigned to make it attend the official equivalent's and to be more flexible, there are no more limitations on the number of groups or on how many items a group may contain, these limitations were lifted. Old_Card_Album: ( // <= <Container_Item_Name>     ("Poring_Card",8), // <= entries can be either ( "<Item_Name>", <Repeat_Count> )     "Sting_Card" // <= or "<Item_Name>" (no repeat) ) item_packages.conf : Overview / Sample
    The file was created to meet the requirements of the official 'Package Item' feature, there are no limitations on how many packages you may add either. Gift_Bundle: { // <= <Container_Item_Name>     White_Slim_Potion: {// <= <Entry_Item_Name>         Random: false //May be omit when not false, signs whether a item is random or should be given whenever the packageis consumed.         Count: 30 //May be omit when not higher than 1, stands for how many <White_Slim_Potion>     }     Muffler_: {         Expire: 2 //May be omit when none, signs how many hours this item will last (makes a rental item)         Announce: True //May be omit when false, signs whether to relay a special item obtain announce when this item comes out of the package.         Rate: 50 //May be omit when 'Random' is false, from 1 to 10000 (0.01% - 100%)         Named: True //May be omit when false, signs whether the item should have the owner's name in it.     } } item_chain.conf : Overview
    Officially this thing is called groups too but I found it'd be confuse to have 2 group files with entirely different functionality, named chains because the items in it are chained to each other, this file fixes quite a few stuff, for example before this patch having BS_FINDINGORE drop something was almost twice as rare than on official servers, also fixes Jewel_Sword, Gaia_Sword, Blazzer_Card, Tengu_Card and Bogy_Horn. New
    'packageitem' script command, it has only 1 param which is optional, for the package item id, when not provided it'll try to use the item id from the item it is being used from (if called from an item script), it runs a item package and grants the items accordingly to the attached player. Changes
    '#define MAX_RANDITEM' and '#define MAX_ITEMGROUP' were dropped, these limitations no longer exist and the server may support an unlimited number of item groups. 'item_findingore.txt' was dropped, its contents moved into 'item_chain.conf' 'item_bluebox.txt', 'item_cardalbum.txt', 'item_giftbox.txt', 'item_misc.txt', 'item_violetbox.txt' and 'item_group_db.txt' were dropped, its contents moved were updated and moved into 'item_group.conf' 'bonus2 bAddItemHealRate' changed; as group ids no longer exist. 'bAddMonsterDropItemGroup' was renamed to 'bAddMonsterDropChainItem' and changed from bonus 2/3 to bonus (0)/2 as the rate param was dropped because item chains have their own individual rates. Item names are now automatically made constants, so they may be used in any scripts throughout the server e.g. 'getitem Apple,1;', this works for all items except those having ' in their names (e.g. doesn't work for 'Monster's_Feed'). 'getrandgroupitem' and 'grouprandomitem' were modified since group ids no longer exist, item ids should be used instead (or constants as the item above mentions), e.g. 'getrandgroupitem Old_Blue_Box,1;' or 'getrandgroupitem 603,1;' Dropped conf/battle/drops.conf 'finding_ore_rate' for it has no place in the official formula (if you'd like to modify finding ore rates, edit them via item_chain.conf) Special Thanks
