  2. Can someone please confirm me how to run the emulator with the "--generate-translations" parameter? Or if this still works in the emulator. Because I'm not able to use it, even following the guidelines in this topic:
  3. This was one of my concerns that came to my mind, but perhaps applying this logic only to whispering messages is feasible because it is one to one translation and not one to several. Do you mean needing to edit the hexed or create a special diff or dll file? I can well imagine how to do this on the part of the emulator, in which I will try to test your suggestion to create a plugin, however on the part of the client it is still kind of confusing to me.
  4. Yes, this is a very good way to automate translations. But another thing I wanted to do was to be able to translate the messages of the players in real time. For example, a Spanish-speaking player speaks in your language and the emulator, when sending the message package to another player's client, translates it from Spanish into English for the other player who is English-speaking. In this way it would be possible to create a server where players of different languages can communicate with each other. Is my idea feasible or can you imagine any limiter that hampers this? Thank.
  5. I would like to know what are the possibilities of creating a plugin that allows using the google translation inside the emulator. It would look something like python library: https://pypi.org/project/googletrans/ Would it be possible to do something like that?
  6. Sorry, i am noob. I dont understand how generate the .po file. I'm execute map-server with --generate-translations param and nothing .po file is created. Someone can help? Thanks.

  9. I'm configure my localhost emulator after long time without messing Hercules, and I realized that there is no way to maintain the log database separated from main database? I'm wrong? Because I dont see nothing about log database in sql_connection.conf? Thanks for listening.

  11. Resolved. my problem was that I was running the python command line in the Windows CMD, but just running the .py file. My stupidity.

  18. I'm using Client 20150513 and there is an option in the Items window to compare items. Every time you compare an item with this option enabled the game closes and crashes. Does anyone have any idea how to solve this?
  19. I have a date folder that is giving error when being read by the fact that the folders are with Japanese digits, I would like to know how I do to convert them to the characters that are accepted.
  20. I own the old item files in txt, but now I want to change from hexed and in the new iteminfo.lub is used. I can not use an iteminfo.lub because my txts have many modifications unique to me.

  22. Changing area_size I can now see the monster in the corner of the screen stopped without chasing me. He chases me only if he gets close. The rest of the things I've changed have not changed at all.

    MAX_NPC_PER_MAP

    Is it any problem for me to exceed the 512 NPC limit on a single map? In case I would be editing in source to exceed the limit.
