WOE Damage

Question

Hi guys, I seem to having a problem with WOE Damage,my gm accounts can't see the Damage dealt.

 

 

// When set to yes, the damage field in packets sent from woe maps will be set
// to -1, making it impossible for GMs, Bots and Hexed clients to know the
// actual damage caused by attacks. (Note 1)
hide_woe_damage: no

 

Normal players can't see the damage even if its set to no,

GM's can't see the damage also

 

I tried to change it to yes

Still the same:

Normal players can't see the damage

GM's can't see the damage

 

Am I missing something?

 

Btw, I'm using the woe_controller by Euphy

this option does not make it show the damage..

 

the client does not display damage on woe maps

but some people can hex the client to show damage (and gain advantage by knowing)

 

now with this set to yes, the server will not tell the client the damage, so the hex client will not know the value.

 

(also gm will not see the damage, but can see the hp bar under players) ** i think **

have you tried restarting your server after the change?

yup, tried it but still the same

 

this option does not make it show the damage..

this what i'm thinking, client related, btw i'm using 2013-03-20 client

 

as for the hp bar, i didn't notice xD will check regarding it

 

so back to the topic, does this means i need to hex the client, but when i do that, both players will see it, is that right?

Oh I see, i hope someone share a diff file for that compatible with the diffs shakto provided for 2013 clients
