Masao 13 Posted December 16, 2013 Hi everyone, just found this on youtube andthought it'd be worth a share with all of you, since I, as well as allthe other youtubers who already commented on that video think, that THISshould've been the remake of the original Ragnarök Online. I think itlooks really cool and gives me them feels for the good old RO days ^^ Andfrom what I know, this game even was made by the original RO Dev. Teamor an RO Dev. who worked on the the team in the very beginnings of RO? Well, anyway, here is the video and I hope you'll enjoy it Maybe we can even start to develop on this game as soon as it's out and RO is dead for sure XD 1 JulioCF reacted to this
mleo1 36 Posted December 16, 2013 What do guys think about the min requirements of this game?
Mystery 594 Posted December 17, 2013 It actually looks fun to play. What exactly are the requirements of the game... and is it already being made in English... or?
Masao 13 Posted December 17, 2013 I don't know the reqs. since I haven't found any yet for the Game. But I guess they shouldn't be that High since the graphics etc. Are just slightly better then in RO but the Client, Engine and Source Code should be far better than in ro. As far as I know, the Game is still in Development and will have it's First closed Test in february 2014 and if everything goes well they'll Further develop and work on it to Release it then in south Korea. I guess After that and depending on its success it'll maybe be released in english for American Players, but that's all a Long Way to go.

Jezu 25 Posted December 17, 2013 (edited) They created a "re-make" of Ragnarok Online 1 because they realized that their recent game releases like Gates of the World and Legend of the Second is not so popular not like RO1. And I hope, this game is not so-like Quest-based online game that you need to "do that quest" to level. Not like Original RO1. pr3p 39 Posted December 18, 2013 (edited) Yah this project leads by the father of Ragnarok Online "Kim Hakkyu" this project was started a year ago w/c is the project R1, the game still based on RO1, jezu is right the uniqueness of the RO1 to RO2 is big difference. Jezu 25 Posted December 18, 2013 You know, I really hate a game that relay on "Quest-based" to level up your character. This is the reason why I really like RO1. It's an open-world and you can do leveling without quest (except on job change, skill requirements, etc.). Nowadays, a lot of MMO's are relaying to Quest System. Olrox 66 Posted December 18, 2013 (edited) IMC games like this one always releases in Asia in all languages including english. The camera seems to be fixed and the movement of the characters seems to be "asdw". Kinda a bit different of how RO is. Also you can Jump. Hehe, let's hope you're right =D Can't wait to play it, and as yommy said, hack the shit out of it xD I love the Music, seems like soundTEMP is on board on this one. And being able to jump and using "asdw" was always one of my big wishes for RO.

c_tower3 1 Posted January 22, 2015 Anyone interested in working on this game? I've looked a bit at the client I have reverse engineered the cryptography so that I'm able to encrypt/decrypt packets. By now I'm working on a little custom login/char select ("barrack") server. Though at this point I really need packet dumps to start figuring out individual packet structures... I didn't have beta access myself, unfortunately. Packet names and lengths are luckily easy to look up in the client.
