  1. I like the center looks all well organized and symmetric.
  3. Giving a short answer I would say that all resides at being Self-sufficient. Not asking anyone how to do things. Not paying anyone to do all it for you. Be that individual that seeks for answers or even, creates answers or solutions of nowhere. And more important, not asking how to have sucess in threads like this one Thats all. I guess I know what I'm talking about since for years I've been running a server time to time, wich had 1000+ players online at their best life.
  4. Looks nice, I like the fonts Perhaps I would change the renders and the background. It kinda looks very "tileable" dunno how to say that but overall is very good IMO
  5. Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/OlroxMaps 1. Concept Hi, I have been really busy to show stuff I have made, but here I'm. Just a commision of a very particular map I did, which I name it as "Vocaloid Stage" The primary idea was to create a small map for event purposes, which concist in a stage. However, the amount of custom material I had to add and features, made possible to recreate the map with a lot of life as usual. 2. Features Again new features on this map: [*]An animated TV on the back area of the stage. The animation of a TV was improved a lot since I did one in a previous map [*]We have a huge background panel of LED screens that adds a panoramic view to the stage. Before I was planning to make it animated but It was just too much [*]Effects like a visual shake effect that represents the stage playing with very loud music. [*]A pack of stage objects as spotlights, speakers that I modeled and texturized myself [*]Effects like clouds to add more representation of a stage, and sound effects like people cheering at the concert. [*]3. Video *watch in HD 1080p* Please I suggest you to watch the video. This map comes with animation that you can't see on screensshots! 4. Screenshots Some screenshots. There isn't a particular order or purpose on the screens here, just some overview screenshots and maybe some others that has to do with close ups. Comments are always apreciated. Thank you in advance
  6. You would need to enable the mapflag at conf/mapflags/night.txt of your custom map before calling the command @night on it.
  7. Oh wow thats new, I really didn't know that a square map would solve that o_o The usual way to resolve this issue is by raising the map up to a water level around -20 or -100, and then resaving everything. The bad thing with this way is that for sky maps, this is not fun, since you loose the height of the sky effect. Gotta give a try to your fix just now to some of my maps

  10. You must use the same amount of letters to allow the sky effect into another map with that hex editon. Please for renaming your map files in case you need to, you must rename it with browedit. Alternatively, there is a weather plugin for allowing weather effects to custom maps, without replacing the original effects Here
  11. Out for this weekend (trip to the beach :D)

  12. I'm lazy to do it, so thanks for not inviting Edit: And btw, If I have to add something: I've done other kind of releases or contributions more than just a BG map all this time so far. Everyone already knows that.

  14. I guess its possible, since the script has to only compare the variables of the IPs that has claimed a price (npc or global variable I guess) and the last IP of the character account calling the NPC, with a SQL querie at the login table. Edit: but then, think about at the time a lot of people uses that NPC, I wonder how optimized would be to check all of that everytime by script

  16. To recolor a model, you need your RSM model extracted from your data.grf already and converted in ASCII *(using unbollox). About the RSM editor in browedit should be like: 1 - Click Open and locate the RSM model you already extracted. 2 - the textures of that model should appear at the right panel. This panel shows also the original texture names/path this RSM model uses. Choose one of the textures you would like to change and the texture window should appear. 3 - locate your custom texture (previously added in texturecustom.txt in the browedit data) and open it. 4 - You'll see your model recolored with your custom texture, then, just click on "save as" and save it as a new RSM file. 5 - You'll need to add this model as a new model in browedit, by editing the file: data/randommodels.txt Edit: Regarding the global height edit, yes that is a common issue. Its possible to copy gats by using the copy function (hotkey C) however, if you use a big brush the gats don't copy. If I remember well, its possible to open two maps in browedit and use this copy function in two maps. So one way could be like: open your original map with the good gats as a backup and the global height copied too. Then switch to gat edit mode and by using a small-medium brush size, use the copy hotkey and switch to the other map by using the TAB key. then try to paste. I don't know if that will work though.
  17. Here is it. Regarding the script you should ask support in the script forums about that. chess01_edited_1.rar
  18. You want only that cell elevated, or you would like to add something like an object there? and what kind of object?
  19. You can always increase the view range of your emu, by editing: conf/battle/client.conf and look for "area_size:" (I wonder if this is the same in Hercules?) Moreover, if you still want to edit the cell, just open it in browedit and, in gat edit mode, raise the gat cell elevation for that. Resave your map and there you have your elevation.
  20. 1 - Yes it is possible to recolor models, just once you apply the new textures to it, save it with a different rsm file name and make your browedit load that rsm as a custom model file by editing the "randommodels.txt" file. (please ask if you need further explanation here) 2 - Editing the data/effects.txt file and just adding the new entries there 3 - Its not possible to change a size of an effect yet.

  22. Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/OlroxMaps 1. Concept Today I'm showing around a small map I did. Its for an event script about racing, Which involves some peco pecos, thats why the name 2. Features This is a small map, that was requested as it. However, it has a lot of fun..[*]Added sound effects like crowd cheering, cannons. [*]One trim area special for spectators. [*]Some effects like fireworks and some party confetti that simulates like the crowd is having fun with the race. [*]All the track is a custom model. The the spectators area, the color porings and that peco sign are models/textures by my own [*]At the end I decided to add some blue sky, which looks nice at the high altitdue areas. [*]3. Video *watch in HD 1080p* 4. Screenshots Some screenshots. There isn't a particular order or purpose on the screens here, just some overview screenshots and maybe some others that has to do with close ups.
  23. Did you create a sun to add some light to it? Edit: In case you didn't, switch to Light Edit mode (F10) and create two light bulbs with CTRL+Left Click, press enter and add these parameters: First light bulb: Intensity 220, Range: 10,000, cast of shadow: yes, Max Light: 220, and finally, the altitude depends of your map. Second light bulb: Intensity 110, Range: 10,000, cast of shadow: no, Max Light: 110, and the altitude also depends of your map. ^ These parameters just for a quick test. Then, look for: generate: calculate lightmaps. Save your map and test.
