Hi all, I just want to ask about the dump file. Where is the gdb core dump being saved in Hercules? specifically for the map-server. Because I've tried both guides in rAthena https://rathena.org/wiki/GDB and Hercules http://herc.ws/wiki/GDB and nothing worked. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Using debian here, with gdb already installed. I've also set ulimit -u unlimited or ulimit -c 9999999 it now says unlimited when i check. I've also enabled gdb debug already using this command ./configure --enable-debug=gdb --disable-lto

It says, 'No Stack'. I tried to disable the Auraset plugin and it let my character login with no map crash Where is the core dump being saved in hercules? i can't seem to find it.

Hi Dastgir, for some weird reason, I'm getting a crashed signal of map server. I'm not sure what it caused to happen. I tried going to abbey03 dungeon and it triggered the crashed signal. Then everytime I log in that character, it crashes the map-server. Also, when warping out of WoE after getting an emperium break, I'm getting a crash signal too. :|

I even downloaded a fresh repo, same problem occur.

Did you pressed the button immediately after being dead? then what happened? Yes I'm using the latest hercules rev.

Hi Dastgir, There's a bug when you just got hit after dying. When you try to press the "return to save point" button 2~3 seconds after dying, you will gain some HP but you're still dead. And monsters can still attack you and you will die again even if you're already dead. Pressing the "return to savepoint" button doesn't allow you to go back to your save point, you still need to wait for 5 seconds after dying. I think you should disable warp hit delay when you're already dead. Fixed in v1.3. Also Seperated the warp delay timers for Players and Others.. Hi Dastgir, Unfortunately it didn't fix the "Return to Savepoint" button bug. When you die and try to click that button, monsters will be able to attack you and it's like you'll just refresh in your position. Doesn't go to your savepoint

Hi Annie, Thanks for this. I just have a few question about it. (1) What mapflags do I need to have to be able to use the @market command? It always says (You can only use @market in a town.) Planning to have a town inn where players can only use @market on a specific cell (2) Is it also possible to make this work on a classic chat room? ex. - player clicks on the chatroom but instead of refusing the join, it allows entering the chat room. (the "message" will still be sent but inside the chat room too) - then everytime the player writes a message in the chat room it will be sent as a PM to the clone owner - and the clone owner can reply using @marketreply if he choose to send it to the chatroom Thanks!

Hi Dastgir, I've tried this a couple of times however it seems that it's showing a high crit damage on screen (around double the normal damage without crit) but it's not the exact damage being deducted on the player's HP. I think it needs to be accurate, or else I'm the only one who experienced this. I'm using the latest Hercules SVN. Ex. - Normal damage does around 30k+ - Critical (on screen) shows around 60k+ - Actual HP deducted to player 45k+

How? (1) Socialize. Use social media. It's a good start (ex. Create your page, twitter/insta account, and try to post at least once per day) (2) Advertise. There are lots of top sites where you can advertise for free. (ex. voting sites) (3) Paid advertising. If you are confident enough about your server, and you have the budget to do it. Do not hesitate. (ex. listing on top of voting sites, premium banners, facebook ads works too) (4) Review sites. You can use RMS or sites alike. But here's the thing, don't focus on getting good reviews, if you know your server is good, then you'll get those reviews. Focus on getting lots of traffic, your goal is to let everyone know about your server. This will eventually lead to these players trying your server. (5) Active forums, and again pages/social sites. If people see how active you are, they'll come to you. Now the next thing you need to know is how to maintain them, how to make them stay. Because a hundred people who join and just left is the same as nothing.

Aim for fun, do things you would like to do. Don't create a server based on a player who wants to play, or a guild waiting, or someone who thinks he know all the sh*t. Because in the end, these players will go, what else is left with you is a server those quitters wanted. -

Simple, they are asking for a license. You don't have a license. Better choose another payment gateway. Diagnosis: (1) Someone could have reported you. Gravity or any official RO server wouldn't care at all. (2) You might have been accepting "payments" or "obvious donations" that is after the name of Ragnarok (which on their part could be a suspicious transaction, since Ragnarok is now a famous identity) Giving reserved rights doesn't do the trick or doesn't save you at all. Properties of gravity are not meant to be used by anyone other than their organization or company, it is not open-source, it is not available freely to the public even for 'education' or 'charity' purposes lol. This had happened to one of my friend already, and the best thing you can do is not to resolve it because you will lose the case and when you lose, there will be additional penalties or cases you have to deal with. (ex. Account suspension due to illegal activities) You have to be very careful when it comes to accepting payments or donations. You don't need to tell paypal about the purpose of the transaction, always send it as a donation and never mention anything about Ragnarok or an item in exchange. -

Hi. I think this is a weird problem. My server is set to Base Level Max 255 and Job Level Max 120. Experience bar for Base Level is fine, it shows upto Level 254 then disappears on Max 255. However for the Job Level experience bar, it's not showing for some reason. When I try to kill monsters, my job level still goes up but I can't see the total experience I currently have. Is there anyone experiencing this too? I think the experience bar should appear until at least Level 119. Here's a screenshot attached. Thanks in advance for any help.

I'm not sure if there's a problem but Vote for Points has no option to exchange it to Cash/Kafra points in-game directly from the site even if it's already set in addons.php Do you have an NPC script that changes vote points to cash?

I reuploaded (same link as above); it now works on both 2010-07-30 and 2012-04-10. I had to cut a model in multiple parts due to its high amount of polygon faces. Works great! Thank you

if you mean bonuses, costume items shouldn't give bonus at all IIRC Ah I see, well some items in iRO do have an effect. In RMS, some costumes there have effects, only the description is not updated. Costumes are also enchantable (only headgear and garment, not sure with other parts)

Yes, having that appear-hit effect too. Mine doesn't disappear when I go cloak lol.
