  2. hmm then that cant be the reason in our case. but it looks like it is being caused by an npc because the crash is occuring when the OnInit event is triggered.

  4. hmm looks like they had some syntax issues. I have updated the patches archive. Yommy i want to make sure they are ok before we add them to the repository. Right now i am facing one issue - the shared palette diffs are not adding anything in the <changes> tag but there are no errors either. I am adding replace codes in multiple locations. Any idea why it is happening.

BTW are there any other patches left missing in xDiffGen present in WeeDiff other than these
  6. its because your upper value is 2 (means only transcendent classes) for the other 3 while the valk shield has it as 7 mean both first and second jobs can equip it including transcendents but third classes wont be able to. In case you are wondering which one is Upper its the value after 0xFFFFFFFF (means all base jobs) item_db format is : ID,DBName,ScreenName,Type,Price,Sell,Weight,ATK,DEF,Range,Slot,Job,Upper,Gender,Loc,wLV,eLV,Refineable,View,{Script},{OnEquip_Script},{OnUnequip_Script}
  7. Count me in . I thought that the projects are already functional so what is missing? combining the patcher and generator? The only missing thing that i have seen is the addition of an extra section to store code & data like in WeeDiffGen (but i think that can be easily added)
  8. hmm i am also facing that issue now. I downloaded fresh copy and compiled. Only changes in conf i have done are the IPs (all set to 127.0.0.1 for testing), SQL Db names & disabled PIN system. One thing i have noticed is that it happens right when all the maps & npcs are loaded and it is about to contact char server for loading guild info. Maybe there is some connectivity issue going on during that time? I know its not my settings because I used the same for a previous Hercules folder and it was working then.
  9. the tabs are now picked up as text from msgstringtable.txt and printed on to the tab one character per row (so we need to shorten the text itself). Line numbers are 1466 - Usable Items 1472 - Miscellaneous Items 2051 - Equipment 2052 - Favorites If you don't find them at that line just check the adjacent one.

  16. It works. just uncheck the option "Use our download manager and get recommended downloads" then click the DOWNLOAD button (not the DOWNLOAD NOW button)

    doesn't changebase command also change the job name displayed?
  22. and if you were wondering, yes you can put any of the settings from all the conf files in battle folder into the import/battle_conf.txt file

    Hi , I know that the class name & sprite path for each job is hard-coded in the client. But what I would like to know is if there is a way for the server to tell the client to pick up only the sprite and not change the class name or is it completely controlled by client only. (I saw that even for the Santa and Summer suits, the client changes the name to the default - Poring and I wanted to change that behavior if possible). P.S. I added the topic in source support because i'm looking for a solution in Source code if possible
