When you switch back to original values you should set the realXXX to 0 so that they get destroyed while they are not used.
Also i would recommend to load / save the sao variables manually via mysql up on entering / leaving the vr, since having too many char variables can tax the performance, atleast if you have many players and many of them play in your vr.
 
The only hard part i guess will be how to handle a crash of your server or instance for whatever reason, regardless of method you use to save the values.

wait ... ADVERTISING ? since when data entry job becomes a salesgirl?
 
3. it ask you to deposit RM50 to start a business ...
ok RM50 is actually small
I just have to eat white bread/plain rice with plain water for 3 days, then I can save RM50 up
but ... it just sound too good ...

I have resort to earn money through selling scripts
... and I hate myself for saying this crap ...
I used to argue and threaten others by reproducing their scripts and release for free
but I don't have a choice now, seems like karma has hit back on me
 
haiz ... so now I'm still in the middle of setting up a test server
probably can start scripting tomorrow
 
I think ... my current stance is
1. continue make free release in hercules script request or script release
---- if anyone wants to me to make it compatible with rathena, let's talk price
2. start making scripts over PM, of course, price negotiable
---- higher price for rathena users ... hahaha
3. if source edit is require, no longer release any patch
---- so there are less rathena users able to convert them
 
I would keep this stance, and view next month (1st Dec) if I'm able to cover my expenses
I just need earn about USD $300 per month to cover this debt
if convert USD $300 into MYR, is about RM1200, that should be enough
and that's also means how small malaysia currency is ... haiz

sometimes the server countdown jumps 1 second ahead
this is normal because the timetick from time->add is unstable
so I use unix_time to synchronize the countdown to server time

@maintenance <Group ID can stay 1~99> <duration to kick in minute> <maintenance duration in minute> <reason> then a GM99 can commence the maintenance
 
Example : '@maintenance 40 5 10 need to fix announcer script'
 
every player with group ID 40 and below will be kick after 5 minutes
and the server will start counting down by an announcement,
during the maintenance of 10 minutes, group ID 40 and below will deny from login into the server
`maintenance` table will also generate a new line, with the `reason` field as 'need to fix announcer script'
which is useful to know when and how many times you did emergency server shutdown
though, the actual reason for using SQL is to persist the data after server shutdown
so the server will continue being in maintenance mode despite how many times you have shut down the server
until it times up ( `end_time` field ), or manually do `@maintenanceoff`
 
Note:
you can't generate a new line using 'INSERT INTO' Sql syntax when server is online
because I declare a bunch of variables to for them, for the purpose of saving memory consumption
you have to login the game and type `@maintenance` to initiate the maintenance mode, otherwise it wont work.

you can type '@maintenanceoff' to immediately turn off the maintenance mode so players can login before the schedule.
