Yup! I remember that I coloured the sprites for my very first server back in eAthena... 2008 and everyone was like... "WTFUX!? Snipers can have these Gryphons?!" xD!

Just bringing these files over from rAthena that I recently brought over from eAthena... so now they're here at Hercules . Basically with these Gryphon recolours, you can easily replace the Gryphon already in RO or you can use them as custom mobs or even use them as Falcon replacements. If you wish to use them as Falcon replacements, you're going to have to do the following: - Head over to /data/sprite/ÀÌÆÑÆ® and rename any Gryphon file to: ¸Å2.spr ----- Sniper's Falcon¸Å.spr ------ Hunter's Falcon My current colours found in this file include: Black Gryphon Blue Gryphon Purple Gryphon Pink Gryphon Gold Gryphon and White Gryphon Note: Please note that when you get the files, the Gryphons are named by colour. It is up to you to rename them if you want to. -

I think it's a neat idea. When it comes to announcements VIA events, etc. I don't see this being a bad idea. For me and my events, I've always wanted a variety of colours lol. Towards GmOcean's comment, I gotta agree with that. If theres a way to make it shorter for 'mes' it'd be best... otherwise using ^000000 is a better way to go.

I don't know if I support this :/ considering this software is open source and free, to allow users to upload paid files to our forums would go against our own license in a sense imo. I'd say if you are making things like sprites, textures, etc and want to charge people for them, you should make your own website, with your own payment gateway and such and just link to it. I dunno. That's just my opinion though. I believe in things being shared for free (when it comes to sprites, scripts, textures, etc) out of the passion for wanting to contribute to the community, like how things were in the past. Too many people trying to profit off this community now a days. I would have to agree. Nevertheless, Ind never wanted this in the first place, thus it never came to Hercules. Don't forget also, if setup as well, the hoster (i.e. Administrator of the site) takes partial payment which then is used towards supporting the domain and hosting costs, etc. However, we don't have to worry about that over here. Edit: Since this isn't really a suggestion proposal... more like an inquiry... it'd be safe to move this to General Discussion.

If you look at your exp.txt file, this line://Base - 3rd Jobs, Baby 3rds, Expanded Super Novice, and Kagerou/Oboro//Note: (First 98 values [Level 1 - 98] are dummy values (used Adv Jobs values), because 3rd classes start at level 99.)99,4054:4055:4056:4057:4058:4059You probably set these jobs to 255 whereas in your source, the max level is 175. You put job 4054 at level 255... but in the source, your max is 175. Change the 175 to 255 in the source and recompile.

I would go as far to say that lol. My secondary char-server disconnected from the login-server after I shut it down temporarily and got "DDoSed" by the map-server. c': <3 :>

Not exactly sure to be honest. They haven't come to us saying 'Look at our server, we're using Hercules!' Only thing to do is check servers' server information page and see what Emulator they're using... thats if they have it stated xD

What is it that you only want from Renewal? You don't want Renewal Mechanics and mechanics consist of the stats, ASPD, formulas, etc. If you just want Renewal Maps and NPCs, manually edit your (pre-re)scripts.conf (https://github.com/HerculesWS/Hercules/blob/master/npc/pre-re/scripts.conf)and add the renewal NPCs there. This way even if you didn't enable Renewal mode in the source, you can still load Renewal NPCs. As for the DEF differences in the Item Description, you're going to have to find an item description text file that's still pre-renewal. -
Ooooh I like this map. With the size of the map, I do think it can house bigger parties. Maybe the dirt part should be walkable... for spectators hahha xD

Yup. You're a bit right on that! I had the same problem before when I just wanted to rename the map's file... but then it caused conflicts when I loaded it to the server. In order to fix it, try renaming the file when you 'Save As' in BrowEdit. Keep in mind that new or custom made maps are not hard coded into the server; you manually add them to the server. -
