I would like to comment on this! I was just a little tike when I played RO for the first time... when I actually had that 30 day trial back then... and those 30 days I loved every minute of it even though it only got my to level 30 Acolyte... old days of playing constantly as an Acolyte in Payon Dungeon... good times! I think Renewal sorta did kill it. I personally don't have to much interest in Renewal. I love the new jobs and stuff, I think that concept is pretty cool... but should of kept it on the same line as the trans jobs... 'cause now the third jobs are just way to powerful in my opinion. They're able to kill a lot of monsters easily (especially MvPs). For the Ragnarok Online 2 aspect, I hate 3D games so I hated RO2. End of discussion. xD

My real personal opinion on this matter is: I suggest we keep those 'custom' scripts that can be kept updated by the Author. If the author is able to update his/her script that is in our repo, I think those should stay. Get rid of the scripts that belong to authors that aren't around anymore. No point in keeping those scripts updated if the author isn't around anymore.

I vote for my script to stay in the events folder!!

About 2 years ago I was into supers... but now I'm more of a mid-rate kind of guy. I like to actually work for my things, but not have to work for 35 days to get to level 30-40. xD

Pretty much. There is practically nothing that protects clients and their GRFs. I've seen one software that tried to protect a client's GRF but it seemed to have failed.

Update: Midgard-Community (MC) is in its final stage of development! The main site has been coming along nicely and I'm very proud of it! To give everyone a preview of how the main site will look, Glimpse of a server's page. These are the only screenshots I will provide to show a preview! Everything else will be kept a secret :> ! I've had a couple of people try out my site and walk through it and experience it as a server owner as well as from a player's standpoint; needless to say, their experience has been great! So for that, I'm glad to see that the site is headed in the right direction!

The only thing you have to keep in mind if you host your site with the same provider as your VPS, if your VPS goes down, it's most likely your site will go down as well (Previous experience). Always try to get a webhoster that's different than your VPS provider.

Oh true, you reminded me people in RO scene like to remove credits text everywhere... True. Also noting that by inspecting the webpage's element, wordpress is stated in it. If its at least credited in the code its still fine... however, they're not properly credited in the code... just a plugin that mentions wordpress.

That's 'cause new bug reports bump down the older ones. In order to make an older bug noticed is by bumping it (i.e. replying to it). That's the only option. Or, create a new issue on Github's Issue Tracker: https://github.com/HerculesWS/Hercules/issues/new

Typically something like this should be kept in the Bug Tracker as it is related to a Bug. The Devs are typically more active going to the Bug Tracker and Github's Issue page as opposed to the actual sub-forums.

On a side note, any update that gets sync'd to our main repo it does not get sync'd to peoples' copies. It'd be up to you to keep your own copy updated.

Not sure exactly... but I don't mind the current size of it. Plus, no one else is caring about the size at the moment o_o
