I am following http://herc.ws/board/topic/8894-guide-setting-up-2013-client-for-hercules/ to setup my client side. I have tried patching several clients (2013-08-07, 2014-02-05, 2014-04-16a), tried disabling recover login and adding a launcher (loki), checked that the patch for disabling ragexe name was applied, etc. However whenever i start the client it just does not start, the process can be seen in the task manager, but it does not start and there is no error message to help me. The DATA.INI file is not created, i also have no idea about where i need to create the xml for the client settings, and the resources around are very scarce.

Hola amigos: hace unos dias me dispuse a crear un server privado de RO, lo cual no tuve problema en crear el servidor, cabe mencionar que este esta montado en Linux, pero bien, el cliente supongo por los tutoriales que tiene que ser creado en WINDOWS, lo cual es confuso para mi porque he hecho muchos intentos y todavia no puedo hacerlo funcionar, cabe mencionar que cuando intento correr algun EXE me sale la imagen que adjunto al post, tambien tengo la carpeta de RO, en D:/ragnarok/... no se si tenga eso que ver, porque segun yo antiguamente se tenia que poner en C:/gravity/ro mas que nada me gustaria me guiaran porque las guias que he visto en este y otro foro son de hace varios anos y no se que cambios hay ahora que impacten en eso, Saludos...

I want to use the 2015 Client. But I have seen that there are certain errors. I have been to modify clif.c to fix some minor problems. But there are bugs that remain and need to be able to read the packets that are sent and received by the emulator. Try using Peek, but there is an error that I can not use it. I wonder if there any programs or tools that allow me to know how the work packets.

Os bugs que eu encontrei foram Umas skills de Warlock, eu usava elas, e dava que a animação da skill não continha na minha data (Já estranhei, pois fiz uma data completa, tudo com base no iRO) E APós o cooldown da skill, usei ela de novo, sob as mesmas condições, e simplesmente não apresentou bug ._. O que acham?

I wanna skip the 'server selection menu' at the very start of the client. There's no skip server selection on NEMO, how do I skip it? is it even possible? 20130807 is my client.

Just wanted to know what is the oldest client date people use now? and which type (RagexeRE, Ragexe or Sakexe)? The reason I ask is because i plan to extend support of my patcher to old clients along with my current bug fixes.

Hello people! As we all know this is the main function Now, My server doesnt 'drop' unidentified items, so there is no means for the unidentifiedDisplayName, unidentifiedResourceName, unidentifiedDescriptionName, variable. Now the question is, What should be the 'code' be for the main_function? is this even possible? Why am I doing this? To save space + for easier addition/editing of items! Hello, so i was testing 2010-11-24aRagexeRE in hercules, i can login just fine to ingame screen, but i can't see any NPCs, and the mobs kinda bugged too (its missing at first but it will suddenly showed up out of nowhere when its moved) I don't know if the problem is client side or server side. I've done this : but got no luck, maybe something i missed?

Hi guys, I'm trying to fix some problems with my client but my brain fried a couple days ago trying to make this work. What am I'm missing for having the client completely translated into english? I'm using the 2013-12-23 client patched with NEMO and Alejandra's data 4.0 folder. Everything is in English except for the tooltips on the minimap icons and the items names and descriptions. Also, why could be the reason my client crashes when I @go prontera? the bar stops at 3% for a couple seconds and then "stopped working". Nothing else. I know it should have something to do with the textures but I don't know where to start looking. BTW it happens in both my local and linux server both running latest hercules. Thanks in advance!!!

Hello community, i will change the icon of my exe, i used the Reshack program and i have seen two ways for change the icon in another posts from hercules/rathena, "after diff the client and... before diff", i tested the two ways and is not working... Appears that error when i open the exe. Only when i change the icon before or after. I've been planning to put up my own server and I think now is the right time to acquire knowledge in building it. To begin with I followed this guide of Sir @Patskie http://herc.ws/board/topic/968-guide-how-to-setup-hercules/ it seems everything is okay.. then I got this problem.. everything is Highlighted in RED for convenience purpose. I guess I mess up in Patskie's instruction #20. -> Visual Studio 2010 C++ compilation is shown also below. PROBLEM: - ( login-server.exe, map-server.exe, char-server.exe was not found. how to adjust the browser resolution? because when i click the link in-game the browser need to be resized with mouse resizer and maximize, is there any way to maximize a default resolution for the ragnarok browser?

Hello, Hercules community! I have a little trouble with renaming homunculus. Why client says that it is possible to rename already renamed homunculus? In my conf/battle/homunc.conf // Can you name a homunculus more then once? (Note 1)hom_rename: no I am using 2014-02-15bRagexe. As I remember - in older clients there was no problems with it. Fix me if I'm wrong c: Is it client issue? Is there possible to fix it? Thanks!

It's a premade package i use for my full setup service, I thought I'd just release it here xD DOWNLOAD HERE Pretty much you just need a BGM and data.grf and you'll be good to go(Assuming your server is already up). Some information for customization: The client is named "PremadeRO_Main", there is another one with EX which is the 2014-10-22 client its buggy so its still in experimental that's why its _EX. It uses DATA.ini, clientinfo.xml which is in the GRF premade.grf System/itemInfo.lua for custom items I used nemo on it, and the following were the diffs applies: Its not the cleanest package, there are some bloat files, which you are free to clean up, though when you do it'll be nice if you could release the cleaned version, just be sure its fully tested alright Even though you got this, it is still useful to try and create your own package sometime as this will help you learn more and prevent future troubles in your server. Hope this serves useful, good luck on your server! Credits goes to gravity, original uploader of the clients, and whoever owned the things I put in there. Sorry if I knew i would be posting this here, I would've gathered the names xD But I only remember Yommy for the 2014 client xD

The "Battleground" and the "Navigation" buttons are somehow useless for our clients, so i'm going to show you how to remove them from the client, keep in mind that this Technic is a little hackish as it consist in changing the HEX value, misleading the image information for those buttons. Hello! I'm a bit confused about some things regarding the client-side of ragnarok emulators. So, 1 - Why are people using 2013 clients? 2 - Is there any updated client (2014+)? 3 - How can I use 2014 clients? Are there diffpatchers for them? 4 - In case there is no diffpatcher for 2014 clients, how can I adapt the 2013 diffpatchers to work with 2014 clients? 5 - Are the clients released by K3dt and other members the same as the kRO ragexe? Do they actually copy them and rename to the update date they correspond to release them to the community, or is there any kind of "modification" these ragexe receive so they become the date-ragexe.exe? Hello. I found a problem in my client. When I open the client and later was closed the game, the process in task manager isn't ending. If I open more than one client, all processes remain always open. This is also occurring with Loki Launcher.exe. Any idea how to solve the problem?
