I guess in all case it use two bytes even if it's alpha in this case (just the second byte set to 0).
By chance, can you give me the binary data of a player talking with chinese and alphanumeric text in the same message ? Would be great to figure it out
 
 
If you have a white page, the .htaccess is read ! In the other case it would show a 404 error page. Try to set the debug mode to true to find the error.
I did some updates to the remote client code two days ago, it should be easier to debug.

December Statistics

This is currently broken in Flux. Confirmed by me and a super sexy official source. This is a legit thing. Voting Center is also busted, though, I don't believe the two are connected.

Should probably start making the "Disable packet encryption" a recommend patch so we won't get this issue reported anymore. Matter of fact, a number of them needs to be marked as recommended with a auto select recommended patches options to make it easier for new users.

To check error occurred ,you can enabled debug mode on application.php  and set it to "true"
 

 
and set true on error/php on showexceptions in able you to check or diagnose what the caused of errors. and don't forget also your user credentials on your server config "server.php" to configure it properly. if you need help just let me know.

These are the Oktoberfest ACT and SPR files available at fRO server GRF, just for these who don't have them, along with their correct location inside the GRF.
 
I will provide no support for these since I didn't make them and the fact that I'm not quite good on client-side.
 
You only have to download one of two files offered here:
 
File 1 (data.zip) provides the content extracted from the GRF, while file 2 (oktoberfest.zip) contains an oktoberfest.grf file with the same contents, for easy management and merging with existing GRFs. It's not necessary to download both of them.
