Yes, that's right. The MMR (Match Makig Rate) will help us identify those who are PRO or newbie in PvP. Just like moba games now.

Hello Hercules Community! I just want to request a new idea that will make the pvp more intense, more challenging and fun but my scripting level is not so PRO like the others here. So here, I want to get help from the community. NOTE: I can't explain more words explanations but I will make sure you will understand On League of Legends side ideas: There will be 6 Division on this. So what are they? - Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, Challenger Each division has 5 Tier; Players need to get those Tier before changing Division. This is what I need: Note: by default, the player need to kill 10 kills to get Bronze V in normal PVP Room. They can't enter higher division rooms; Note2: There will be a pop-up that will tell them that "Congratulations! You are now Bronze V and can enter PVP Ranked Room!" Bronze V -> Bronze IV = Need 10 Kills (or PVP Points) Bronze IV -> Bronze III = Need 15 Kills (or PVP Points) Bronze III -> Bronze II = Need 20 Kills (or PVP Points) Bronze II -> Bronze I = Need 25 Kills (or PVP Points) Changing Division (SERIES) :: Bronze I -> Silver V = Need 30 Kills (or PVP Points) Note: There will a pop-up that will tell them "Congratulations! You are now Silver V!" The rest is, adjustable depends on owner's setup. On PVP Room Side ideas: There will be a special room for each division. When you click the NPC. PVP Room -> Normal PVP / PVP Ranked Room -> - Bronze - Silver - Gold - Platinum - Diamond - No Division Limit (If no division yet, they are not eligible to enter) NOTE: If a player is Platinum Division, they can't enter Bronze, Silver, Gold and Diamond. NOTE2: The No Division Limit is NOT counted on PVP Points. More will be added soon..

Ano po ba magandang Security Shield for Hercules?
Jezu replied to Happy's topic in Ragnarok Mo? Pag usapan natin
Sa ngayon di ka makakakuha ng IG license since under development pa ang IG 4.0. Ang nakakagamit pa lang ngayon is yung mga nakapag purchase ng license noon. You can contact me for purchasing license kapag natapos na ang close beta ng 4.0. -
You should put a check before they use the NPC if its rented item, I experience this long ago with may past servers and they will surely abuse that bug.

Additionally, always divide your custom rates to 100. For example, I'll put 350 in. item_rate_card: 350 350 / 100 = 3.5% chance to drop a card on your server. Another example, for boss cards. item_rate_card_boss: 10 That would be 10 / 100 = 0.1% chance to drop a boss card on your server. Rule of Thumb: Always divide your rates to 100.

Choosing decent Server for hosting Hercules
Jezu replied to Zirius's question in General Server Support
I think you are in ASIA which is miles away from Los Angeles. It would give you 170 up to 250ms. Worst is 300-350ms. If you want a 2 digit ms (milliseconds) ping, then go get an ASIA-based server like Singapore-based VPS. That will solve your problem. here's a test ip for singapore-based vps. 116.251.208.201 -
Sugeeee! Another great month for Hercules!

That's why, Gravity is invading the Mobile industries for RO. Ragnarok Online is almost dead now. But some countries has alot of players even if its dead.
-
Just a small tip. as far as I know, running a VNC on your VPS will take a part of your RAM and bandwidth. I suggest you to use putty and WinSCP instead.

Go to your map_zone_db.conf then on the category "All" . (That means, whole server, whole world of your RO). The code below will limit the MO_EXTREMITYFIST to halve. If you make it 100, then that would be normal. If you do 200, then that skill will double the damage output. zones: ({ /* All zone is a dynamic (very special) zone that is forcebly inherited by ALL maps automatically */ name: "All" /* changing this name requires MAP_ZONE_ALL_NAME to also be changed in src/map/map.h file */ disabled_skills: { //both examples below disable napalm beat (id 11) to players //MG_NAPALMBEAT: "PLAYER" //ID11: "PLAYER" } disabled_items: { //Both examples below disable apple (id 501) //Apple: true //ID501: true } mapflags: ( ) /* "command:min-group-lv-to-override" e.g. "heal: 70" */ disabled_commands: { //Example Below makes @heal be used in maps within this zone only by those group lv 70 and above //heal: 70 } skill_damage_cap: { //Exemple Below caps firebolt damage in maps within this zone to a maximum 50 damage, // (depends on HMAP_ZONE_DAMAGE_CAP_TYPE in src/config/core.h) // when cast vs players and monsters. //MG_COLDBOLT: (50,"PLAYER | MONSTER") }+ adjust_skill_damage: {+ MO_EXTREMITYFIST 50+ }},
